Chapter 2

The next day

Hiccup: Hello? Merida?
Merida: Boo!
Hiccup: *gasp* you scared me.
Merida: I do that to my little brothers.
Hiccup: You have younger brothers?
Merida: Yeah. Triplets.
Hiccup: Wow. That's a very nice family.
Merida: Why? Yah don't have siblings?
Hiccup: Yeah. Kinda sad but I'm good.
Merida: Hmm maybe we should catch sum fish don't yah think.
Hiccup: I'm good at that.

They went to catch fish and had fun. Merida started becoming best friends with Hiccup.

Hiccup: Hey, you wanna ride on Toothless? It will be fun. Toothless even likes you.
Merida: Aww. Ok, is it safe?
Hiccup: Trust me.
Merida: OK then.

Hiccup grabbed Merida's arm and Merida sat on Toothless hugging Hiccups waste.

Hiccup: Toothless, steady now.

Toothless just flew safely and sound and it was the first time Merida rode on a dragon.

Days passed and Merida and Hiccups friendship was getting stronger that Merida had had a huge crush on Hiccup after 3 weeks of friendship but she knew she was to old for Hiccup and He had Astrid already and she knows that he is a Viking and that she is a princess. She decided to keep it to herself instead. She knew it would be crazy and awkward to admit that she loves Hiccup but she wish to tell the truth to Hiccup one day. 

3 weeks past

Hiccup: Hey Mer.
Merida: Hi Hic.
Hiccup: So how was your day yesterday?
Merida: It was fine. Where do you wanna hang out?
Hiccup: Well...... Merida.
Merida: Yup.
Hiccup: I found this place, I hope you'll love it.
Merida: Where?
Hiccup: Come on (holds Merida's hand).

Merida blushed and followed Hiccup and he showed her something in the woods. It was a mountain view.

Merida: This is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.
Hiccup: I knew you'd like it.
Merida: I love it.

They went to sit down and look at the sky and clouds. Hiccup then asked Merida a question.

Hiccup: Since I told you who my girlfriend is, Who's yours?
Merida: ............... It's to embarrassing and I would be ashamed.
Hiccup: Why is he your boyfriend or secret lover.
Merida: No, I just have a huge  crush on him.
Hiccup: Who is it? Please tell me.
Merida: I just can't.
Hiccup: Well, can I guess?
Merida: Fine, but you won't guess who he is. He is cute, smart, funny and he makes me happy all the time and when I see him I fall in love with him so badly but I can't cause......... He is not my type of guy cause he.......  *sigh*
Hiccup: Is he a prince?
Merida: No. See You just won't know who he is.
Hiccup: I know he is not a prince. Let me tell my real guess.
Merida: What?
Hiccup: It's me right.
Merida: Uh...Uh...?
Hiccup: You told me that I was the only boy who had been with you for the past three weeks. You also said you never fallen in love with any prince.
Merida: I hope you don't hate me cause of that.
Hiccup: (smiles and strokes Merida's cheek) I love you.
Merida: .................... I uhm....
Hiccup: You don't have to be ashamed.
Merida: I love you too. (hugs Hiccup)

Hiccup followed Merida home then.....

Merida: Ok thanks Hiccup. Bye. (kisses Hiccup's cheek)
Hiccup: Bye. (kisses Merida's cheek  back)

When Merida entered her home.

Merida: *blushing*
Elinor: Why I see you are blushing Merida. Are you in love with someone?
Merida: No mum it's nothing.
Elinor: Ok fine. Rapunzel will visit us tomorrow. Would you like to hang out with her?
Merida: That would be great mum.
Elinor: Ok. It's time to go to sleep darling you came late.
Merida: Night mum.

Back to Hiccup

Jack: Well someone's blushing.
Hiccup: Am I falling in love with her? I still love Astrid but.... Jack you got to help me!
Jack: Well have I ever told you about Rapunzel? We met 2 months ago and now I'm her new boyfriend and she is married and I have Tooth but look, me and her husband are best buds cause we love the same woman and he is fine with me.
Hiccup: Yeah but we are MU and I want her to be my friend but I also want to be her......
Jack: Boyfriend.
Hiccup: Sorta.
Jack: Well you can't fight love Hic and Rapunzel is going to visit someone. If only she could meet you.
Hiccup: Well I better go. Bye Jack.

Jack then leaves and Hiccup starts dreaming of Merida. They both have been falling in love so hard.
