the one where namjoon is late

warnings: slight swearing, mentions of stress (???)

"where's namjoon? it's been an hour already and the man still hasn't arrived?!" jimin wouldn't stop complaining over the leader arriving late. "damn right, lil man." seokjin replied, captivated by his phone and not even giving any fucks anymore. "I'M NOT THAT SHORT!" jimin yelled back in response to his friends rather rude comment.

the boys had been waiting for over an hour for namjoon to arrive at the recording for Run BTS! and they really weren't having it. they'd called namjoon, texted namjoon from not only 7 phones but an added 3 more from the staff. and no answers had been given.

"he better be here soon or imma get real mad." hoseok said something he almost never said, considering the fact he most often said something around the lines of 'relax' and 'don't stress the guy'. the members just had to start filming since, with an upcoming album, it would be impossible to stay in a room full of staff members, korean food and board games. really not worth dance practice late in the evening or maybe even at night. 

suddenly someone burst through the door and some of the members and staff got startled by the sudden entrance. "oh gosh! i'm so sorry! i had a song on the verge of the deadline and then i tried to finish it and failed so i had to try again and again cuz it wasn't working and then when i finally finished it i figured i hadn't eaten anything for a long time. so i went to the kitchen and tried to make something. and uhm..." 

at this point seokjin was already giving out the cards for the game of UNO and jungkook went to look for snacks. no one had the energy to hear namjoon plead for forgiveness so the whole plan went on as if nothing even happened, except joon's stylist sneaking little scolding words here and there.

hoseok set up some stuff together with the staff and jungkook was heard ruffling around the bags of chips, candy, drinks and whatever snacks their company put inhuman amounts of money on. the fun, crazy and loud variety show was soon to begin and the members were ready. the managers said their last words about namjoon's behaviour and so they began.
