暗闇のホタルのように、

just like fireflies in the dark,
you'll glow, then disappear.

after consuming all the delicious food. we all helped miya-sama our with cleaning the place and watching a movie. but me and haruto were still in the front yard, raking the leaves out of the sidewalk and making them into a pile. "so haruto, why'd you come here?" I asked as he stopped raking the leaves and looked down at the ground.

"well...it's kind of embarrassing to talk about" he said as he scratched his neck. i nodded as i looked at the front door as it opened and yoshinori peaked out the glass door with a smile. "we got some popcorn here if you would like some because we're about to watch your name" he said as i giggled.

"it's fine. i'm a little full from the dinner and not in the mood for movies right now" i said as haruto nodded as well.

"me too. i'll continue tidying the front yard." haruto said while yoshinori nods. "okay, ill see you later then!" he winked as he went back inside.

after a few minutes, we finished cleaning up as we saw little kids walking by with their families with joy. "let's go see the fireflies!" they said as they had boxes of sparklers and other stuff.

my face lits up while i grabbed haruto's arm and tugged where they were going. "let's go!" i said as we both headed to where the families were going. they headed towards the grassy field that was under an empty road but filled with a couple of families. "can't wait to see the fireflies" some kids said as they sat near the lake and looked up at the blue night sky.

it's my turn to do my magic.

I clapped both my hands together and prayed.

Oh please. Give fireflies to this grassy field and fill the places with their bright lights to shine our hearts I thought to myself as after a few seconds and hearing children gasping, I opened my eyes.

Fireflies bloomed out and everyone cheered. "Woah" I heard haruto say as I looked to my side to examine his expression.

He was smiling. A sincere smile.

One that he hasn't had for a long time due to his tears in his eyes.

"Pretty, isn't it?" I said as he nodded. He looked at me and smiled.

I grabbed his wrist. "Let's go," I said. I planned to take him somewhere that has the best view of the whole city.
"w-where are we going?" he stuttered as we rushed up to the mountains. "somewhere~" i sang as we ran up the stairs and reached the peak of the mountains.

The mountain wasn't that high. But as we reached the up. haruto was out of breathing. I giggled and walked close tot he fence that limits me from the edge of the mountain and me. haruto's footstep became louder as i saw his body at the rear of my eye. "wow" he exhaled his breath.

the city light were bright with colors, the pretty sounds of nature echoes in my ear as i closed my eyes.

"this place, gives me a way to escape from the hard times in my life. if i can't go to my garden because of the hospital times, i often go here." i opened my eyes again and met my eyes with haruto, who was already looking at me.

"anyways~ why did a handsome guy like you come to tokyo?" I asked as he chuckled.

"well. the meaning of going here was because of the selfishness i had back in fukuoka." he said.

selfish, he doesn't look selfish?

haruto looked down and rubbed the back of his neck.

"i tend to use a lot of power when im in clubs and class like i got angry at people doing not the right things. w-well, i can't describe it, it now sounds stupid" he said as i pout, placing my hand on his shoulder.

he looked up and i patted his shoulder while smiling. "it's not stupid. it's okay to be confused about your past. but you can change and make your future great, that's what i want you to do. escape those negativities from your past" i said while taking my hand back to my pockets and looked at the city lights.

"t-thanks koharu" he said while i giggled. we took a few minutes looking at the lights as i kind off spotted haruto looking at me a few times.

"well, we better get going now" i said while taking his hand and walking back to the hotel, "miya-sama might be worried about us"

as we arrived the front yard of the hotel, koharu swiped her hotel card on the door and it opened. We got in as i spotted that the lights were off. but footsteps coming near.

the lights opened as we saw mashiho stepping out with his pajamas, yawning . He looked over at us and raised his eyebrows at us.

"So where were you guys?" he said as i rolled my eyes. mashiho walked up and hugged koharu on the side. "you have to be with me koko-bun" he said as he tried kissing her but she kept trying to push his face away from her "stop it! why do you have to be like that!" koharu exclaimed as she quickly ran upstairs to the room her and yuki share.

"did i upset her?" he said as i gave out a sigh and patted his back. "i dont know, i can't take a read on her" i said as i walked upstairs to my room that i share with asahi.

i closed the door as i saw asahi on his computer, looking at me. "you took a bit longer to come back" he said.

"come on" he said as he waved his hands, signaling me to come sit on the chair next to his.

i smiled as i walked over to him and flopped on the chair, listenign to the music he has been producing. "hm. i didn't notice you compose" i said as he stopped the music.

"i do just for fun and bringing in the mood. i actually perform sometimes on the streets." he said as i nodded.

"now, tell me what you guys did" asahi asked.

"well the only thing we did was she showed me fireflies and took me to a location that she said helps her to relieve herself," i said as she nodded.

"Everyone was worried because you know. you two are in the age of puberty and maturity" he said as i got up and went to my bed and flopped down. "yup, but it's just the first day i met her, that couldn't happen so quickly?" i said while closing my eyes.

i heard asahi's computer turn off as the lights were now pitch black because asahi turned the lights off.

we can't be already falling in love with each other,

right?
