THE BELL RANG!

"Sunog!" rinig kong sigaw nung isang estudyante. I immediately stand and pack my things. I run as fast as I can hangang sa makalabas ako sa building ng school. Malaki na nga ang apoy sa may kabilang building.

Earlier that day—

I woke up early to prepare for school. Thank God we will be able to wear whatever is in our closet. Then a message popped out through my phone.

from: Martha
Message: Khloe dn't 4get the color coding today okay? Wear red. It's a good luck.

Napakunot naman noo ko dahil sa pagtataka. Then I remembered the announcement on the bulletin board, merong color coding na dapat sundin.

Pink         In a relationship

Red          Looking for a date

White     Single and contented

Green     A is for Amapalaya

Gray     Kay crush lang lalandi

Blue     Study first

Brown   Aasa ba ako sayo?

Black    HeartBroken

I was about to pick my blue shirt to wear them my phone chimed..

I roam my head and looked at the window to see if she's here, but nope. No one's here except me. Sometimes I really want to ask her if she installed some kind of chip on my head that's why she always knew what am I thinking.

In the end, I decided to grant her what she requested and wore red.

Habang naglalakad ako sa hallway maaalala mo talagang VALENTINES na dahil sa mga pusong nakasabit sa hallway at fairy lights na kulay pink. I have no idea why pink is our theme when it's supposed to be red. Siguro nagsawa na sila sa bawat valentines na puro pula ang paligid. Well it's refreshing tho.

Nagtungo ako sa room, walang tao sa loob wala din namang klase dahil naghahanda na ang ilang mga istudyante sa kani-kanilang mga booth at caravan. Ako? Dahil wala akong club na sinalihan na pinagsisisihan ko na ngayon dahil kailangan ko ng extracurricular para sa grades ko kung hindi, hindi ko ma memeet yung general average para sa college scholars. Baka hindi pa ako makagraduate.

Dahil na-stress inilabas ko yung earpods ko at nagplay nalang ng kantang Only the young by Taylor Swift. Pinatong ko muna yung ulo ko sa desk at ipinikit yung mata.

"KHLOE MADRIAGA HERNANDEZ!!!!!!!!"

Napatayo agad ako sa upuan ko nang magulat ako sa sigaw na yon. "Ma'am I'm sorry, i will not sleep in your class again." Napasigaw ako dahil sa gulat.

Then a realization hit me napalingon ako sa katabi ko ngayon na tawa nang tawa. I rolled my eyes. "Nakakatawa yon ha Martha?!" I furrowed my brows to emphasize that I'm mad and disturbed from sleep.

"S-sorry! Ikaw k-kasi e." Putol putol na salita niya dahil hindi pa siya tapos tumawa.

"Anong kailangan mo?" hindi pa din nawawala yung pagkakunot ng noo ko.

Napatigil naman siya sa pagtawa and she cleared her throat "I need you, it's an emergency sorry." At nakuha pa niyang mag puppy face.

"Anong emergency naman yan?" Sabay taas ko ng isang kilay and crossed my arms. I know right. By emergency, she meant only two scenarios that I can only think of, una kailangan niyang magpoop, pangalawa magpapasama siya sa convenient store. Or lastly she needs someone to annoy, that's three reasons actually, and Oh!!!
