After the match,Beta walked away whilst spacing out. Raimon's ace striker was somehow.... familiar...

"Promise you'll come back..?"

Beta frantically whipped her head in caution, partially startled by the barely audible voice of a child. Eyes squinted,she scanned the room. But then....

"Don't worry,I will."

There it was again! But instead it was...hers,but younger. Then suddenly her mind bought her down to memory lane, memories of such precious moments of the past she could not recall. A blinding light made her cover her eyes,a silhouette of two children no older than the age of 10.

"Please don't leave me,beta-chan!"

"I'm so sorry, Tsurugi....."

Tsurugi......That voice was Tsurugi's! She teared up and wiped her tears of joy, finally knowing it was him after 8 years. She was suddenly snapped out of her trance as the scene changed. A young beta roamed around the hallways of El Dorado,her features were slightly different than her current. She had short green-blue hair that were tied into high pigtails since her hair was shorter when she was still a child

"Beta-chan!Fenelle found this very cool machine in the laboratory!You and Fennelle should check it out!!,"A girl with waist length green hair came running to her out of the blue,waving her arms in excitement. Beta's sweet smile changed to a scowl, knowing that the green haired child shouldn't go in there without El Dorado's consent.

"Baka,Fen-chan! You know you shouldn't even be in there, that's one of the rules!,"She snarled, startling the said female. Fennelle was her first friend and was a forward in Beta's team,they were like some sort of backup team.

Her best friend whimpered in fear, shrinking slightly. Beta, realizing what she had done,gave the latter a gentle smile as an apology.

*Timeskip (I'm sorry)*

"FEN! THIS IS A TIME MACHINE!"

"I know, it's so cool! Come on Beta, Let's go!,"Grinning , She dragged poor beta,who reluctantly let's herself be dragged by her best friend whose energy has no end. Pushing a certain button, they were suddenly consumed by a rainbow,and into another timeline.

She opened her eyes, green grass and flowers surrounded the surprisingly empty park. She frantically searched for Fennelle,only to find a boy with navy blue hair playing soccer. The said boy accidentally kicked the soccer ball in the wrong direction,making Beta block it with one foot.

"Sugoi!How did you do that?!,"He asked enthusiastically, staring at her in awe. Beta blushed,she found the boy kind of.... cute. She shook her head,no that can't be true! Besides, they're from different timelines after all.... it'd be impossible for them to be together.

"Want to play soccer with me?,"

"Oka-"

"BETA!!!!!!!"

Beta snapped her head towards the direction of the familiar voice,to find Fennelle standing there.

"We need to talk,"Fen's gaze was placed unto Beta then Tsurugi, examining him from head to toe. She held her head up, giving her a prideful look. She placed her hand on her hip and turned to Beta with a confused

"Who's this kid?,"She asked, tilting her head towards Tsurugi.

"My name is Tsurugi Kyousuke!"Tsurugi smiled, blinding both Beta and Fennelle as imaginary sparkles and flowers surrounded him.  Fennelle and Beta stayed with Tsurugi for a few hours,the latter having a chance to play with Beta before she had to leave.

"Wait.... you're leaving?!"

"We have to leave Tsurugi-kun"

"I...see...Promise me you'll come back..?"

"Promise....."

Beta's eyes snapped open,sweat dripping down her face. She clutched her hand,only to see a note that she didn't knew she was clutching tightly until now.
