"Amane-kun..did you know that when people pass away, they become stars?" Yashiro said to lighten up the mood.

"Where did you even heard that?"

"Ah, I heard it from my mother of course! Have you heard about this rumour yet?" She cheekily smiled.

"What rumour?"

"The rumour of the stars! Did you know that when friends pass away, they end up becoming stars in the sky? Because their bond was very special, they become the brightest among the other stars!"

This made Amane a little bit relieved. But it still couldn't get rid of the fear in his chest.

"If Amane-kun's gonna die soon then I won't worry at all! I won't even be sad!"

"Ouch. Well, that was harsh Yashiro" Amane jokingly said.

"E-eh I didnt mean it that way! I mean that the stars would remind me of you! The brightest star that I would see would be you since you were already the star when I was stuck in the darkness" Yashiro sincerely said.

"Cheesy but thanks"

"Amane-kun! Im trying to cheer you up here! I'm not joking! "

Amane laughed at flustered Yashiro. She felt relieved that he wasn't sad anymore.

"But seriously, that rumor of yours sounds interesting" Amane smiled. "When I become a star, just look up when you feel sad, okay? I'll always be there to be the light in your darkness. I'll wait for you there too."

"What do you mean you'll wait for me, Amane-kun?"

Amane leaned closer, surpising Yashiro. "I'll wait for you till you become a star too if I become one too early"

Seconds later, Yashiro squeals and moves away. Amane chuckles.

"But still! Amane-kun shouldn't become one too early! Dying is not a joke and that would be unfair! " Yashiro exclaims.

"Fine. I won't become a star quicker than you" Amane rolls his eyes and stares at the sky again. "I'll try to live longer"

Yashiro shots him a glare "try?"

"Just kidding. I'll live longer. There, happy?"

Yashiro helds her hand up and points her pinky finger to Amane. "Is that a promise?"
