"So, how did you find me again?" The conversation had been going for almost an hour and although I answered all of her questions she wasn't satisfied with not one. Of course, she kept it to herself.

"I was going for a run and heard you from a distance so I investigated... that's my job" Sighing as I sipped on my almost cold coffee, she began speaking again.

Oh, Rose if only you knew what I was thinking every time you opened your mouth. What can you do with that mouth? I am so tempted to know, I need to know. I will know... not yet though. Patience Jungkook.

"Hey, Jungkook I know this is a lot, but I can't find anyone to go to my best friend's birthday party with. I need a... date" She began fiddling with her fingers as I could tell she was clearly nervous of rejection. "I already asked Jimin but Taehyung almost instantly denied my request of letting him come" 

Woah, Of course, I will go. 

"I don't know, I might be busy. When is it?" The wrong words came out of my mouth, once again.

No, I will be coming, I don't care about work. That can wait.

"Tonight" Showing her best impression of the emoji with its mouth wide open, a little bit shocked and disturbed. I nodded almost instantly and began drinking my completely cold coffee. "I'm pretty sure I didn't order a cold coffee, that's my sign to get going, Haha" I stood up wanting her to follow but she didn't budge.

"Want a ride home?" Of course, I'd ask her if she wanted a ride home. Nobody knows what goes on in other men's minds. It doesn't matter how revealing your clothes are if you are set as a target, there is no escaping. "I'm good, Taehyung is picking me up. I'm going straight to his to get ready, as per his request" 

"Oh, okay then" 

Of course, It's by his request. He is so obviously obsessed with you, he wants to keep you to himself. I will protect you from him, I don't care for the consequences. 

"Can I get your number? So I can-" Without noticing I jump at the opportunity of giving her my number, what Is wrong with me? Nothing, absolutely nothing. " Oh yeah here, just message me the details." Handing her a sheet with my number on I rush out of the coffee shop, hoping to get ready in time and to get there before the others. Her other friends.

"Bye Jungkook"

Now, what can I say? I think I could do better when It comes to dating, being a police officer it is difficult to get out of work easily. Therefore, many people give up trying to date us. But you Rose, You're much more than 'many people' I won't let you give up on me, ever. You are mine and I am yours. 

What to wear? What to wear? Usually, I just put anything on and go. But because this party clearly means a lot to you and your best friend, I will try a little harder. Maybe I should wear a see-through shirt to spice up the outfit? 

After some time of thinking about what to wear, I decided to go for a simple black outfit.

Distracted by how good I looked, I didn't notice my phone continuously ringing. It was Rose, maybe she was ready and already at the party. 

"Hey, Jungkook! I thought I should call to tell you, Taehyung said he is going to drive you to the party. I don't know, he insisted I tel- HI JUNGKOOK!" Rose was obviously taken over by Taehyung. "Hi, Taehyung?" 

"Yeah, So where do you live? I need to come to get you now, I need some help sorting out the decorations... wait you don't mind do you?" Chuckling at how eager the childlike man was I explained where  I lived and he hung up without letting me finish my sentence.

 Sighing heavily as I waited outside, I noticed a matte black car start slowing down as it approached my house. I could hear the blazing music from a mile away and his over the top singing that came with it too. "Ah, Jungkook! Get in quick, we're going to be late"

Tonight is going to be a long night, I can already tell.

I haven't written in a few days, and, this chapter is really messy but I'm going to start writing better from now on so don't give up on me yet haha. T^T
