I read the text again one more time then.....

"Hi meggie!" Boy

"Hi _______!" Megan

"I....have something to tell you..." Boy

"What?" Megan

"I.....am leaving.." Boy

".......why?" Megan

Why? Why does he have to leave me? I will be so lonely now!

"My mom wants me to study abroad till I reach middle school....but don't worry! I'll be back by then!" Boy.

"But then.......i will be so lonely now....." Megan.

Sadness filled the voice of the two children as they talk...

"Hey ___________! Come now sweetie!say goodbye to megan now..." The boy's mom.

"Bye....meggie....i'll miss you" Boy.

"..........." Megan

suddenly.........

Then,the boy's mom called him one more time

"B-bye Me-Megan..." Boy. Still stuttering.

"Bye..........Nathan..." Megan.

As they waved bye at each other Megan watched the car Nathan rode disappear.

Then Megan fell from her bed.
