Specter Hunter (abused/neglected Specter knight reader x RWBY)

Chapter 1

Well since I never really watched RWBY (and I feel like I am missing out) I am going to try make the story as good as my knowledge from Wiki and other stories go. Anyway here is what you came for. and in this timeline:

Yang and Y/N: 11 years old

Ruby: 9 years old

Y/N is on the ground bleeding inside his room during the night after his endless beatings and suffering.

Taiyang: *kicks Y/N* "You are free to take some time to rest freak."

-Y/N Pov-

...Why? ......... Why are they doing this to me? in the past I thought they cared about me... This is happening for 6 years ever since my 5th birthday. First they only ignored... I was ok with that, but then they started to use me as a slave doing chores for them and be their punching dummy for training sessions. I hear the door open, but I am too weak to even get up to look who was there.

Yang: "how are you doing...?"

I heard Yang sit next to me before I jokingly replied

Y/N: "I feel like bleeding crap."

We both chuckle a bit, but then the air gets more tense and serious.

Yang: "You shouldn't let them do this to you... Who knows how far will they go tomorrow."

Y/N: "heh I know, but I cannot leave you and Ruby here either, nor do I have strength and skills to defend myself when fighting."

Yang: "here let me atleast stop the bleeding."

-timeskip brought by Chibi Yang taking bandages out of a first aid kit-

I managed to sit up so Yang could help me by patching the cuts and gun wounds. I hear the door open and see a sleepy Ruby walk inside the room.

Ruby: "big bro are you okay?"

Y/N: "I am fine Ruby, but I don't know how much more I can handle."

The bandages were pretty tight, but not to the point I was suffocating. I look at the two of them and see that they are both worried, but happy.

Y/N: "Do you really think I should leave while I still have a chance Yang?"

Yang: *looks away* "Y-yes.. as much as I hate to say it you should run with your head on your shoulders then rest in a coffin *whispering*, if the bastards would give you one *normal voice* forever."

Despite Ruby being quite innocent and young, she is not a complete fool. I mean that freaky kid builta Scythe that can be used as a sniper rifle!

Ruby: *tearing up a little* "Please big bro run. Run as far as you can. I don't want to see you suffering like this please...please..."

I hug her slowly and let her cry her feelings out... Eventually she cries herself to sleep and let her head rest on my lap. I look to Yang and see a smile on her face probably, because the image look of the adorable cinamon bun resting peacefully in my lap was priceless. I look back at everything I have been through and realized they were right. This was my chance to escape from the pain and look for a better life and that was when you decided to take the chance and with a determined look on your face.
