PWTC 5: Debate: Love Vs. Friendship

Nandito na kami ngayon sa room. Grabe pa din. Naging close kami ni Sean oo. Pero pagdating sa academics haynako. Sasabog kami e talagang walang nagpapatalo. Grabe nga. Debatehan kung debatehan ang talino niya din pala sobra. Mukhang may makakalaban nga ako. Pero speaking of debate ngayon nga pala yung debate namin sa english . Ano nanaman kayang topic yon. After ng ilang minutes na pag iintay andyan na si Ms. Maribel Ambubuyog. Hahaha. Psh. Bubuyog haha.

"GoodMorning class. I already told you last time that we are going to have our debate today, so are you prepared and excited. " we nodded.

"We are going to have 2 groups the first group will be the girls the second group will be the boys. Is that clear?"

"Yes mam" we said in chorus.

"But mam. What is the topic?" I ask with curiosity pano ba naman magdedebate ng di sinasabi topic.

"Good question Sandy. our topic is about Love and friendship. So girls what do you prefer. Friendship or love?"

"Friendship!!" All girls.

"So boys. I think you will be the one who will fight for love" ms. Ambubuyog

"Okay mam" all boys

"So are you all ready? The debate starts now. But first we need to have a toss coin . the loser will be the first one to speak. So girls what are you?? Heads or tails?"

"Heads mam."

"Okay. So I guess that the boys will be the tails"

Tinoss na ni mam yung coin. Tapos ang lumabas ay heads. Haha yeheey una sila.

"Okay boys be ready you are the first one to speak."

" It is more important that we understand the true meaning of love and friendship. Love has got wide connotations. We can love one's parents, children or anybody or anything to that matter. We can love ourselves as well. Love with friendship has deeper meaning. It means you know a person or a thing more intimately without any reservation whatsoever" woah. Grabe talaga to'ng si Sean teka nga ako muna sasagot.

"Friendship is a special kind of love. And a true friend is hard to find. So when you do find one, hang on tight, don't let go and remind that friend every once in a while how much he or she means to you. Friendship marks a life even more deeply than love. Love risks degenerating into obsession, friendship is never anything but sharing." I said with full confidence. Kala ni sean papatalo ako ha.

"The importance of love is that you have someone in your life who loves you for who you are The importance of Love is to show someone you care no matter what, would be there for them through it all. Love to me has no boundaries, no rules, and can't be managed." Sabi ni John. Wow galing din pala nito.

"Oh yeah. No rules right. But for a cassanova like you I dont think that love fits for you, because first you dont give girls the love that they expect from you because you are the No Strings Attach Man. That's why I dont know why you are still fighting for that love even though you really dont know the meaning of love. Friendship yes it is the most important because love always starts with friendship if there is no friendship there is no love. In friendship you can make sure that you are forever . But in love? That forever thing doesn't exist. We always knew that in a relationship one of the pair will always screw up so dont dare fight for love if you really dont know the meaning of love." Woaaah. "If we talk about love. That doesn't mean that we are talking about the love of every relationship. But we are talking about the word LOVE . Love can be for your family, friends and also for God. Importance of love in our life? Well that's simple. When I think of what love means to me personally, though, I think of all the different types of love I have for the people in my life. There's romantic love, family love, friend love and the most incredible love of all: soul mate love. That's it is importance to us because we cant live without love. We cant live with full of hates.
