So basically me and Skylar we're BFFS! We were inseparable, honestly. We told each other everything and kept each other's secrets. We literally had sleepovers every night, and still today i question why my parents even let us. Enough of that. Just keep in mind this happened about 3 years ago (we were 10), but Hayden just thinks it's childish so he doesn't care AT ALL, which bothers me so much!!
You see, at that time, which I didn't know about, Skylar had a crush on Peter. And when I told her she immediately started "shipping us together" if you could even call it that, because we were only 10. She even came up wth shipnames like "Petanne" and tbh I really like it, lol. But little did I know she had been talking to the popular group for a WHILE, long before I told her. She had been telling them every little dirty secret of mine, and the WORST part is that she was dating peter at that time!!!! And I had NO idea whatsoever. After the popular group knew about me liking peter, the dared peter to go ask me out in front of the whole cafeteria. And this is how it went...
"Hey," peter said. "Hi." I said blushing. "Ummm... how are you?" He asked. I said; "I'm fine, how are you?" "I'm great!" He responded. "So basically I came here to ask you to be my girlfriend." He said "excitingly". "OMG YES I WOULD LOVE TO!!" (Sorry for the cringe shit, we were 10 okay?!) I typically screamed!!! And I was smiling my ass off. Then out of nowhere the popular group came up to us. Tana started laughing, but Hayden just stood there feeling sorry for me I guess. Then Skylar said, "oh anne, you actually thought that my peter here liked you?!" Trying not to laugh. "Well, THEN YOUR WRONG!" And then she burst out laughing. The only thing I could think of was to grab my bag and run out.
After that, so many of my friends joined the school, and thankfully this has never been mentioned since 5th grade! I was hoping that the popular group had just gotten mature, but then I overheard them once talking about this, and I thanked god that they weren't talking about this to other than their shitty group members.
