(Emily's P.O.V.)

"I need an immediate room change!"

The receptionist's eyes widened as I came to a screeching stop in front of her desk, breathless. "What was that, Miss Watson?" She asked, watching me catch my breath again.

"I wasn't told that a certain little boyband was going to be here."

Her eyes widened as she began blubbering excuse after excuse. She obviously didn't want to get on my bad side. "We're not allowed to dispatch that sort of information. I didn't know, Miss---"

"Forget it," I held up my hand with a shake of my head. "Are there any other suites?"

"You didn't enjoy the completementary gifts we sent up to your room? Not much a fan of fruit?"

I rolled my eyes. "Not a fan of fruit cake, thanks."

Sighing, I reluctantly dragged myself back towards the elevator, clicking the buttom for 'up'. At that moment, the bell chimed and the metal doors slid apart to reveal a beaming face, much to my discomfort.

"My, now look at what we have here." Louis chuckled as he leant up against the railing. I considered waiting for the next one; but he'd seized my wrist, pulling me in beside him. "Oh, don't be such a sour puss, Emily. Talk to me."

Carelessly shrugging, I stepped away from him. His touch alone made me rigid and I stared at the closing doors as we were pulled up. "There's nothing really to say."

And there wasn't. Rather, nothing I wanted to tell him

"No?" His dark brows knitted together over his baby blue eyes. "That's not what the telleys been saying lately. Not to mention all the magazines with your face plastered all over them."

Another shrug.

Right now, all I desperately wanted was to get out of this confined space with Louis Tomlinson. It'd been two years since I'd last seen him. Two long years.

"That doesn't really matter, now does it?" My snide remark had him pressing his lips together.

"You're different, Emi." He tilted his head to the side, the corner of his lip tugging down.

I shot him a sneer. "Fame changes people." My eyes narrowed at him as the doors opened to our floor. "You'd know that very well, now wouldn't you, Louis?"

Not even bothering to wait for his reply, I rushed out, immediately heading for my door.

Slamming the door shut behind me, I let out a deep sigh.

Already, I couldn't get those big blue eyes out of my head.
