"Hey, Violet!" I say, then immediately realize what I've done. Of course, being the idiot I am, I stand there and blush. Furiously.

"Hey, Isabella! What did you need?" She says, turning around to face me. Her long locks follow her.

"Bella, I'm back!" Lila's voice trills.

"I'll tell you later" I whisper, and she nods.

She turns on her heel and walks out, her long hair swishing behind her. I notice something in my hand. I look at it. A phone number is written on it, along with the words "tell me now?" A huge, idiotic smile spreads across my face.

"Bella." Lila's voice is unusually cold, a hard icy tone underlying my name. "Why were you talking to Winters?'

"I Wasn't."

"What did she give you?"

"Nothing."

"Let me see it!" A slight touch of hysteria in her voice. I quickly swap her number for a regular napkin under the table.

"She gave me a napkin. That was literally all she gave me, ok?"

"I don't trust you anymore! I'm breaking up with you!"

I sit there, shocked, as she storms out. I notice something on the table. A necklace I gave her for her birthday a few months ago. My jaw drops. I guess it really is over.

The rain pours outside, easily reflecting my mood. The tears rolling down my face don't hurt either, though my eyeliner runs. I guess I just thought that this would never happen.
