CHASES POV: the kissing booth ends and me and Charli go down stairs and agree to go to the mall. But she has to go back upstairs and put concealer on her bruises she says and I stop her and tell her who cares what others think? She nodded and we called a Uber since I didn't want everyone in plunking to see my car. We walked into the mall and immediately and guy that is well over 40 comes over with a camera and starts asking Charli super personal questions and she doesn't respond until he says "I hear you got raped" and she looked into the camera as she stopped me and said "yes and I don't like to talk about it so get out of my face" and we kept walking holding hands. We made tiktoks with at least 20 people. And she bought a few things from Lululemon and tillys and I got something from banana republic. We walked out and called Uber. We were waiting and this guy came up to her and smacked her butt. I got livid so I went over and got in his face and told him to leave. I hugged her knowing that she was uncomfortable and the Uber arrived we both sat in the back. I held her hand and we got back to the hype house and Kouvr brought back Chipotle. We all ate and we're having a good time when Dixie (who was taking a nap at the time) came running down stairs screaming like she was going to die. Charli jumped up. Charli said "what happened" in a tense voice I look at Charli and ask why do you know something bad happened she replied with "I know my sister very well and that was a scared and panicked scream"
DIXIES POV: I wake and and walk to the bathroom to use the bathroom as I walk out of the bathroom there is a window that you can see the roof of the other side of the house on and there were three people in all black. They were crawling on the roof as if they were looking for a way to get in from a skylight which we had 4 around the house. I scream as I run down stairs in panic and scream more. Charli jumps out of her chair and screams "WHAT HAPPENED?" And I explain it to Chase all in one breath. Then we go silent think about what to do next. Then we here footsteps on the roof and we all just stop moving and listen. It sounded like it was over by charlis room so we went to the opposite side of the house and call 911
CHARLIS POV: I'm on the phone with 911 and they say that "these are happening more and more around the U.S of people breaking into skylights." So I tell the lady we should just leave since there on the roof right? She said "absolutely not there are usually people outside of the house walking around so you will get caught by someone" I panic and then tell her the address and hang up. I start hyperventilating and feel like I'm going to pass out. Chase runs over to me and he starts freaking out. Dixie walks over to Chase and says "she's having an anxiety attack" Chase looks confused and Dixie says "she's had them since she was 13 and I'm the only one that knows" Dixie rubs by back and gives me water and I calm down. Chase sticks by my side and I know he's freaked out. As we hear footsteps get close where to we are we all run in the pantry and sit down. And then the worst thing possible that could happen did. We hear glass shatter that sounded like the upstairs skylight in my bathroom. I just put my head in chases black sweatshirt and cry. The anxiety comes back in waves and all I can remember is the glass shattering from when the rapist broke in. And I continue crying as we hear footsteps go down stairs so we go completely silent.
