It was a beautiful summer day in Moomin Valley. All the townspeople were out enjoying the weather, some as friends, others coupled together. Such was the case currently with Moomintroll and his lovely partner, Snorkmaiden, yet carrying along in the back, was dear old Snufkin, he seemed not to care that he was tagging along with the couple, he just wished he had another to talk to. The three were at the riverside, chatting the day away. Soon enough though, Snufkin would grab his pack and stand
"Where are you going Snufkin?" Moomintroll would ask, looking at the male

"Just out for a walk Moomintroll, I'll return." He Would reply, walking off to his favorite spot, the bridge. He would trudge along, thinking of how there wasn't much entertainment here in The Valley, and it needed something new. Eventually he would arrive at the bridge and climb up to sit upon the railing over looking the waters. He pulled out his harmonica, closing his eyes and beginning to play a tune. As he would play, something would come floating down the river...what was it, a boat? Yes, a boat. A sailboat, big enough for two to live upon. Its mast was currently lowered

Manning the boat was a girl, whose hair was long, but no longer than her shoulders. It was golden in color, and shined in the sun. Upon her head sat a dainty hat, with just enough of a rim to keep the sun out of her face, and blue and yellow flowers adorned upon it. Her shoulders were bare, yet she wore billowing white long-sleeves, and very cropped blue pants, along with a worn out pair of boots. She would turn the boat, going to dock on the riverside nearby. Once she had done so, she had hopped off; and tied her boat. She would look around The Valley, taking in the new scenery, when she heard a noise; a happy harmonica tune. This was when she would take it upon herself to walk, and follow the pretty music. She would find the bridge. With Snufkin upon it, playing. She would quietly walk up and stand beside him before speaking in a soft, chipper voice:
"Quite the tune you're playing." To the boy, frightening poor Snufkin, so he would yelp and jump, tumbling clumsily into the waters below.
