Nix pov
I got up from the couch and looked at everyone "Do you guys have a spare room?" I ask as I try to avoid eye contact. "Yes we do, why do you want to know?" Annabel asks me,, shes obviously still angry. "Well I dont have much privacy while sleeping on the couch and I'll need privacy if I'm gonna be staying here." I explain to Annabel.
"Oh, that makes sense, I'll walk you to the guest room." She instantly starts to walk up stairs and I quickly follow. We quickly get to the guest room and I walk in seeing a comfortable looking room. The room was kinda fancy, the walls were a light brown color and the floor was made of wood. The bed was neatly made and had a few stuffed animals on it.
A small white dresser with a pot of white flowers on top of it was in the corner. There was also a balcony with glass doors so that people could look out at the other houses. I turned around to see that Annabel had already left.
shes probably still angry.
I realized I had left my bag downstairs and quickly walked downstairs and grabbed it. I ran upstairs into my room and closed the door.
Hopefully I dont run into Cam since that would be awkward
I kept thinking about what happened last night
I cant believe me and Cam fucked...
I walked over to the bed and laid down to rest. I moved the blanket so that I could slip under it and fell asleep.
2 hours later
I heard my phone ringing so I pulled it out of my bag and saw that my mom was calling. I answered it and sat up "Nix!? Are you ok?" She asked sounding concerned
shit I forgot to tell her I was staying here
"Yeah mom I'm fine. Sorry I didnt tell you sooner but I'm staying at my freinds house for a few days, is that ok?" I ask hoping she says yes
"Of course honey..but for how long?" I sigh in relief "For around a week" I say "ok that's fine. Be safe ok? Love you bye." I say bye and hang up. I jump as I look up, Cam was standing there looking at me.
"Hey Nix...You dont hate me after what happend last night right..?" She says as she stares at the ground and holds her arms "Of course I don't! But it might become a little awkward around us." I say "Thank god you dont hate me." she sighs in relief slowly smiling.
