Christian's pov

“I’m serious Christian, her name is Alice”

“You’re not fooling me Agnes, spill it out”

“Aggie, you do know that Christian’s not gonna stop right?” Aaron spoke up while eating his chips.

“Christian you don’t get it, if I were to tell you then it feels like I have violated her trust in me”

“She won’t know a thing Aggie that I can promise. Now please, tell me who this girl is?”

Agnes took a deep breath before speaking. Finally she was going to say after two hours of persuasion.

“Her actual name is Martha Ruth. She is far from the bratty, shopaholic woman that she might claim to be. Actually she hates shopping and she does have job”

Wow.

“Really?”

“Yeah, she is a software engineer and she is working right here in your company, She is so not a daddy’s little princess because...” Agnes took a deep breath before continuing “...both her parents have passed on from a very young age and she grew up in an orphanage”

My-gosh, that poor girl is an orphan. I still do love her very much and now it all made sense why she behaved that way but why the disguise though? 

“Wow- That’s just wow. I mean that’s mind blowing, honestly that was the completely not what I expected but why the disguise though. I can understand the whole bratty attitude but why disguise”

“Because she is a very, very shy person Christian. She prefers her privacy very much and just feels that since the date is a one-time thing, thus the disguise”

I exhaled. Finally I have found my woman and deep down I feel that we’re just meant for each other.

“Do you have her number?”

“That’s far Christian, I can’t give it to you. You ask me about your date and that’s it”

“Hey, are you forgetting who I am? I’m the CEO here so technically I’m her boss you know, in that way I do have and can access to her personals”
Agnes sighed.

“I’ll pass it to you later then”

I sighed, I know it hurts Agnes very much to see her this way but like I can’t help it and I finally who my mystery date was.

“Please don’t be mad Agnes, I know it feels like you have violated your friendship with Martha but you have not, trust me. Out of all the women you sent me as my date, she was and still is the best. I don’t think I have ever felt for any woman in that way. Ever”

I confessed and it was the truth. 

“Do we hear the wedding bells soon?” Aaron teased.

“Hopefully” I smirked.

“Whoa, whoa, whoa, hold up” Agnes spoke up “You’re not forcing this poor girl into something that she might be absolutely against. She has already gone through too much, please don’t pressure her this way. Have a heart at least”

I sighed.

“Agnes, we were only teasing. I’m not going force her into something like that so soon, all I want from her is just to be transparent and comfortable around me as herself and not with a disguise” I said.
