~Chapter 8~

I wake up and quickly put on my lulu leggings, my vans, and Kio's hoodie. I pack my electronics and check the time. It was 7:30. I had 30 minutes to pick up Kio, and then we had to head to the airport. I pull my hair into a messy bun and leave. We would be flying first class, so we will have food on there. I pull up and Kio hobbles out. I laugh and help him into the car. We then head to the airport.

I grab Kio's bags from the trunk of the uber and we go to his front door. He knocks and his mother quickly answers.
"Sweetie!" She smiles and hugs him. I smile at them.
"Hey mom, this is my girlfriend Y/N!" Kio says. I smile and wave. His mom hugs me.
"Welcome to the family hunny!" She says.
"Thank you!" I say. Kio shows me to his room and I set the bags down
"Kio, I called Emily over, are you ready to meet your child?" Kio's mom asks him. I feel tears swelling in my eyes.
"Yeah, I guess. I just never thought I would already have a kid!" Kio says. I sit on his bed and pull out my phone.
"Y/N, would you like some coffee?" Kio's mom asks.
"Uh yeah, thank you ma'am!" I say.
"Oh you don't have to call me ma'am, just call me mom. I can already see you are the one for my son!" She says. I smile and nod. When she leaves, there was a knock.
"I'll get it!" I say. Kio limps on his crutches to the couch while I open the door.
"Is Kio here?" A girl with long blonde hair asks. She was holding a baby that was bout 1-2. A man was standing next to her and she was wearing a ring. The guy had his arm around her and a baby bag in the other.
"Yes, you must be Emily. I'm Y/N, Kio's girlfriend!" I say sweetly.
"Careful, he used to be a player!" She says walking in.
"I know, he told me everything. I'm so sorry!" I say. She nods and looks at Kio. His face was still messed up.
"Holy crap, what happened to you?" She asks him.
"Some crazy girl hit me with her car!" He says and laughs. I sit next to Kio and he takes my hand. He was nervous but so was I.
"I'm Will, Em's fiancee and this is o- your guy's son, Oliver!" The kid smiles hearing his name and waves at me and Kio.
"Hi Oliver!" Kio says. His voice was so shaky. I give him a reassuring squeeze as Oliver waddles over to us.
"How old is he?" Kio asks.
"2! His birthday is in May!" Emily says.
"Can I call him Oli and do you want me to pay you for like child support?" Kio asks.
"Seeing as you aren't really ever around him and this is your first time meeting, I don't want your money. He thinks Will is his dad, we'll tell him when he's old enough. You can call him anything but your kid I guess!" Emily fires back. Kio's eyes start watering. I look over at him.
"Look Emily, I'm sorry but YOU avoided ME, not the other way around. I tried to give you my number but you threw it away. I didn't want this either and I'm sorry that I ruined your life but I've been so scared to get into relationships after you. Y/N is the first girl I've actually dated since you!" Kio says.
"Your mom never brought me my coffee, I'm gonna go grab it!" I look at Kio and I stand up. I walk out and walk to the kitchen where I see his mom.
"What's going on?" She asks.
"Emily got mad about Kio not being in Oliver's life at all but that's her own fault! Not his!" I say. His mom nods and hands me coffee.
"Go back, I want to know what happens!" Kio's mom says. I laugh and nod. I walk back to the living room just in time to see Will punch Kio. Emily and I both scream, scaring Oliver.
"KIO!" I say.
"WILL WHY DID YOU DO THAT?" Emily says. Oliver was crying and Kio was just shocked.
"KIO! Stay there!" I demand, my voice getting low and kinda mean. He looks over at me, he was broken. I run to him and wrap my arms around him. He starts sobbing.
"I'm so sorry! We are leaving!" Emily says.
"I'm sorry too! Bye!" I say. I help Kio to his room.
"Y/N!" He looks up at me.
"Let me get some stuff. Where is your washclothes?" I ask.
"Down the hall. First door!" Kio says. I quickly grab one and cover it in warm water. I run back to Kio's room and start helping clean off the blood.
"What happened?" Kio's mom walks in. She gasps seeing Kio's nose and lip bleading.
"Will punched him in the face!" I say.
"I really messed up this time Y/N! That was my kid!" Kio bury's his facein my shirt, covering it in blood. I am forced to push Kio's face off to finish cleaning him up.
"I know Kio! It wasn't your fault! Holdd this under your nose! I'm gonna go change into something different!" I say and grab my bag. I follow Kio's mom to the bathroom and go inside. I lock the door and slide down the wall. I bring my knees to my chest and start silently crying. I stand back up and quickly change.

I change into my black sweats that say Harry Styles up the side and sigh. I need some Harry Styles right now. I had the yellow tpwk shirt underneath my hoodie. I walk back to Kio's room with everything I brought and the other outfit. Kio looks at me and opens his arms. I climb into bed next to him and put my head in his chest. I let out a breath and Kio sighs.
