"Babe, you need to calm down" Liam laughs reaching out to caress the soft skin of the young girls petite arm.

At the sight of his best friend throwing her arms over her chest, he sighs rolling his warm brown eyes. When Liam advances towards the brunette, he expects her to push him away. But it surprises him greatly when she wraps her skinny arms around his neck.

"Liam, I swear if you drop me I will end your life." Although the threat is harmless, he nods sharply circling his fingers in her waist.

"Don't worry, I got you covered"

As Liam moves towards the pool, Marisa throws her coverup on the tall chair in the corner. Much like the previous week, her and Liam have been spending time just relaxing by the pool. Instead of wanting to be alone this extremely hot Friday, they both decide to invite some friends over from their old college classes.

"Whose with who?" A tall red head shouts from the deep end of the pool, pulling his older girlfriend towards his side almost protectively. "I have my little cupcake here." He teases pinching the once pale face in the cheeks. At the sight of the two flirting, Marisa rolls her eyes, yet can't seem to take her eyes off her older friend. Ever since the two were in about sixth grade, they became the best of friends. No one could come between them nor could anyone join the duo.

"I'm with rissy, obviously" Liam states reaching one arm out to beckon the green eyed beauty over. "Come on, you clown get in the pool!" He teases splashing the empty space directly vertically to him.

"Hold your horses" Marisa mumbles, shedding her bright pink shorts. When the radiant sun hits her even more than before, she racing towards the deep end of the pool jumping in. As she resurfaces, she can't help but laugh at the pout on Liam's face. "I hope your face gets stuck like that" is all she states swimming over to him.

"Okay stop flirting. I want to do this so I can finally eat!" Almost like she forgot that her slightly annoying friends were still present, she blushes an ugly shade of red hiding her face on Liam's chest.

"Ready baby girl?" He asks softly crouching down slightly which results in Marisa moving away from him.

"Let's kick some American butt"

"You totally cheated!" Marisa yells to the opponents shaking her hair with her polished fingers.

"You just suck" Mandy, the red heads' girlfriend laughs poking her red tongue out at the sore loser. Hearing this statement, she turns to Liam pouting her lips more than necessary.

"I don't suck do I?" She asks cutely batting her eyelashes much like a school girl, not getting what she wants. Noticing the smirk on Liam's face, she slaps him in the chest. Hard. "Perv"

"Oh come on..you really walked into that one, haven't ya?" he laughs poking her side. Once he notices she doesn't laugh at the joke like normal, he leans down kissing her cheek. "Baby, princess, you may suck, but at least you'll only be sucking me."

"Idiot"

"You love me"

"Maybe way too much"

The play fight gets cut of by the man, still unnamed throwing a tangerine at the two. "Can you not? You make me sick" he snickers rolling his eyes over dramatically.

"Did you seriously just throw an orange at me?" Marisa asks after bending down to retrieve the orange ball.

"Nope, I threw a tangerine"
