Under the hot scorching heat, there was a massive colony that was always busy. Among these hard working ants was a couple. The female ant's name was Lala, her lover's name was Gobblers.

Gobblers was deeply in love with Lala. Unfortunately,  her parents didn't approve of him. She was always scorned at for mentioning his name or even portraying her love for him.

One day, Lala's parents decided that they needed to end their daughter's relationship with Gobblers. Lala, wanting to obey, decided that maybe her parents were right. Gobblers would always be the love of her life.

21 ant days had passed, and Lala was always in an emotional state. She sought for advice from her elders of the colony, hoping they would aid her into the arms of Gobblers. Most of them decided that it was best for the two lovers to go their separate ways and discover what's best for their ant future.

This wasn't enough for Lala. Devastated as ever, Lala snuck into the Anderson's house. They were on vacation. All alone, Lala climbed a wooden table.

Memories of her and Gobblers began to play before her.

The time Gobblers and her tried the black liquid in the glass tank. It had struck her as odd how the humans seemed to be giddier after the intake of the liquid.

She remembered the way he offered the last piece of the cake crumbs they shared. She smiled as the memory of their first ride together on Jimmy, the moth. Before her, she manifested the image of Gobblers. She could see his bent antennae, the reminiscence from the time he took on a massive worm.

Standing there, she shouted. Nothing in particular, just an expression of one who cannot be strong anymore. One who makes the humans question the possibility of an ant screaming. One who longed for Gobblers' love once more.

When she was done, she let herself fall. I guess this is love, she began to think as she felt the swiftness rushing toward her. I guess this is what it was like when Mrs. Anderson and Mr. Anderson danced slowly in the kitchen as the sun set. I am red, there will be red, the tomato was red, we were red. Love is red.

Such a texture, such a story, such an ending, such a story.
