My Actual Love Life

Chapter One

Hi, my name is Natalia. This story is true, but I've changed the names of my "crushes" so they don't find out this way. This is gonna be confusing, so hold on. I am changing the names of my crushes, but using their names as well when I'm not referring to them as my crush. Like I'll just say... Bob. Let's say Bob is my crush, but he's also one of my friends. I would say Bob when referring to him as my friend, but, I don't know, Jason when referring to him as my crush. This first chapter is pretty much just getting to know me and the characters, so you can move onto the "good shit" if you want. This is a non-smut story, so don't worry about that. Moving on. I love horror movies. They. Are. Life. I recently watched The Conjuring. That's not important to the story, just wanted to put that in there. I am a lesbian, most of my friends are too. I think. IDK if they just say that or if they actually are. 

There's this one kid in my class who isn't really important, but I'll change his name (for now) so if he finds this he won't be offended. I'll just call him... Harry? Sure. He has no personality really, and you can tell he fakes his OCD. A lot. He literally hides his face when there's a tiny thing wrong, and he over exaggerates about almost everything. I'm not coming after people with OCD here, so don't come after me! It's just so painfully obvious that he's faking. Moving on. 

Eli/Essex. He has changed his name twice (first he was Eli, then he was Essex, now he's Eli again???), and may do it again in the future. I don't know. He joined my friend group in fifth grade, and now he joined a different one. There was a rumor going around that I hated him ever since he joined our class. It's not true. 

Mia. Mia is one of my best friends, even though she's not in my friend group. She's in a different class. She is one of the people I trust most, (enough to show her my scars) and is the only one who I've told about my current crush. I met her in second grade. She and I both love acting.

Alyssa. Alyssa is another one of my best friends. We have known each other since kindergarten, and she has always been there for me. We like to be weird together and we like supernatural stuff.

Jessa. Jessa I have also known since kindergarten. We now are starting to drift apart because of three people I will get to later. Jessa is also in my friend group.

Skyler. Skyler is another one of my friends in my friend group. I've also known her since second grade. She's seen The Conjuring and I'm gonna talk to her about it on Tuesday when I get back to school. She's (used to be) the only one in our group with braces.

Jake. Jake is one of the nicest/rudest people I know. One day we're talking about the latest trends on TikTok and messing around with each other, the next he's (FUCK YOU JAKE) mimicking me and making fun of how I (used to) "cosplay" as characters from Scream (great movie, you should watch it if you haven't) at school (I even bought a sweater and skirt so I could dress like Tatum). We have a... like/hate relationship. He's also one of the people who are getting in between me and Jessa (IDK if he knows this or not so Jake if you're reading this go die in a hole).

Tegan. I've known Tegan since preschool, but we've only really ever been acquaintances. But now she's been interfering with my friend group and is like halfway in it. Me and Alyssa are still a little annoyed at her, but she has gotten accepted by Skyler and Jessa. 

Nishita. Nishita is the third and final person who is getting in between me and Jessa. She is kinda like Tegan, but is more girly. Her favorite color is pink, yadayadaya. I can say these things about Tegan and Nishita because they don't use Wattpad. Ha. 

Amy. Amy is in my Girl Scout troop, and was friends with Mia before I met her. Let's be clear, I frikin love Amy. She is one of the best people I know. She's funny and we have the same taste in music. Amy, if you're reading this, please stop getting down on yourself! You are amazing in every way!

Kate. Also in my Girl Scout troop, but I've known her since kindergarten. She is an introvert and will get lost in a good book. A lot. We watched the Grudge and the Conjuring together. 

Alyna. Alyna is the tall girl. She's only a year older than me and is, like, five foot eleven or something. She also has these shoes that make her taller than she already is! ALYNA GIVE ME YOUR SHOES! I'M TOO SHORT!

BRING OUT THE CRUSHES!

First crush was Jake. It lasted for about a day and he already knows so yeah. Also this was before I knew my sexuality.

Second crush was, let's call her, Ari? Sure. My crush on Ari lasted about, maybe, five months or so. I moved on not too long ago. She's straight so I had no chance.

Third crush. I kinda sorta still like her, but I'm not really sure. I'll call her Jade? Sure. 

Fourth crush. Current crush, I'll call her... Leah. Why not? This is who I told Mia about, but she already likes someone in my friend group. And it's not me.
