"𝙊𝙝 𝙢𝙮 𝙜𝙤𝙙..." Jessica Moore's hands were trembling as she held the white and blue pregnancy test in her hand. Her boyfriend, Sam, had left town for a few days with his brother, and she had been feeling a little off for a few days now. But she didn't want to worry him, especially if she really wasn't pregnant. But now as she stared at the faint second line she was beginning to regret her decision. She didn't know whether to feel nervous or excited, but somehow she had become a mixture of both.
Just imagining her and Sam with a little bundle of joy made her feel giddy. Just imagining spending the rest of her life with Sam made her tear up happily. And she was sure he would feel the same.
Bringing the positive test towards her heart, the young woman let out a tearful laugh, smiling happily. However, her joyful thoughts were soon interrupted by a loud knocking at the door. Furrowing her eyebrows in confusion, Jess turned to look at the black analog clock mounted on the wall above her and Sam's bed. 11:05pm.
Why on earth would anyone be visiting her at this time?
Jess set the pregnancy test down on the counter before, slowly, she made her way towards the door. Going on her tiptoes, the blonde peeked through the peephole to see if she truly wanted to open the door. However, she seemed somewhat relieved by who was on the other side. Unlatching the chain, Jess pulled the door open to reveal a young man, looking around the same age as she and Sam. He was clearly a friend of theirs;
"Brady?" Jess questioned, frowning in confusion as she tried to work out why her friend would visit her so late at night. Glancing behind him cautiously to see if he had any company, Jess kept her grip on the door tight, just in case she needed to shut him out. Brady used to be a good kid, but over the past few years he had built up quite the reputation for himself. She and Sam had tried to get him back on track. Back to concentrating on his education over the drugs and the alcohol and the one night stands, but they were yet to succeed. And this was what truly worried Jess. Biting her lip anxiously, the blonde shrugged, tilting her head as she attempted to mask her worry "Is... everything alright?" Letting out a sigh, Brady looked at the young woman with a dark smile
"Hi, Jessie," he taunted, immediately catching her off guard. She knew that Brady could be condescending but she had never seen him like this. Taking a cautious step back, Jess let her fingers curl around the door, getting ready to close it in his face
"Have you been drinking?" She asked him "Maybe... you should come back tomorrow," However, Brady simply slammed his hand on the door, the loud sound causing Jess to flinch away. Unbeknownst to her, she had already subconsciously let her motherly instincts set in, looking down to see her hand placed on her stomach. Brady forced his way in, a dark smirk coming upon his face as he approached her
"I wish I could say I was sorry," he stated, finally letting a glowing demon blade fall from his sleeve. Jessica's eyes widened in horror as she backed away
"B-Brady?!" She questioned fearfully, tears starting to prick her eyes as she stared at who she thought was her friend. Suddenly, the man's angered yet taunting eyes shifted black, and he grasped ahold of Jessica, causing her to squeal fearfully "Please!" She begged, finally allowing hot tears to trickle down her cheeks. The last thing in the world she wanted was to find out she was pregnant and then get killed by one of her beloved friends, all before Sam returned. Before she could even tell him herself. Shaking her head, Jessica looked into the demon's eyes pleadingly "P-please don't do this," she begged as she let out a shaky cry "I'm your friend, Brady," she cried "I- I won't... I won't tell anyone," sniffling as she shook her head, Jess continued to try and beg for her life "W-w-we can figure this out," A silence set in the room for a hauntingly long moment before, finally, Brady broke it with his amused chuckle. Shaking his head, Brady tutted at the blonde, wagging his finger
"Oh, Jessie," he cupped her cheek tauntingly, the pregnant blonde flinching in fear as he did
"Brady, I'm pregnant," she blurted out as a last resort, hoping the idea of killing not just a woman but an innocent child would force Brady to stop. However, he simply smirked in amusement, shaking his head as he let out a sigh
"I know," he nodded, his eyes shifting back to normal as he examined Jess's horrified expression "And you would have made such a good mommy too," before Jess could protest any more, Brady's knife slowly drew closer to her stomach, beginning to glow brighter as it did. He grinned in triumph before suddenly thrusting the blade into the center of Jess's stomach, leaving her helpless to do anything but watch. Eyes widening upon the pain and impact, Brady watched as the blonde's eyes dilated and the life slowly drifted from her eyes. As soon as he was certain she was dead, the slump and lack of breath gave it away, Brady violently ripped the blade from her stomach, tossing her onto the floor carelessly, "Oh, the things I do for Sam Winchester," he smirked, admiring the blade in his hand before glancing up at the ceiling, seeming to get an idea...
