All I can focus on is the heart monitor. My father has been diagnosed with cancer 2 months ago and I still can't get over the fact he has cancer, it seems unreal to me. My father isn't doing too well he acts like everything is okay, but the sickness is just getting worse and not looking bright.
"It's time to go home, Riley" Ethan says.
"Okay, bye Dad" I reply.
I hug him and head out. I do not cry around my Dad, I don't want to worry him and make him upset. I want him to focus on his health. My mother stays with my father whilst Grayson, Ethan and I drive home.
"Did you finish your homework?" Grayson questions.
"Yeah" I reply
"Of course you did, you're so smart and organized"
"Thanks"
