Screwed up Ideas

I don't know why, but I've imagined being in my science class being assigned to do a project with a partner. 

I then thought what if my best friend/gf partnered with me while everyone else partnered up and we finally gather in our pairings.

Next thing you know the teacher would say "All right. These are the pairs and groups you're going to be working with."

Then out of nowhere my gf would say out loud "Shoutout to all my pairs"

Please tell me I'm not the only one who has imagined something like this....
