Why do I get this tingling sensation?
Why do I smile whenever I see you?
I've been trying to avoid these feelings
And eradicate you from my mind
But you always make these memories rewind
Yet I still think that you're one of a kind.
My heart skips a beat when you catch me looking at you
My mind gets blank when you smile back
What is this that I feel?
Hoping it's just a dream
But no, it's all very real.
Now is the chance to make you mine
Cause I believe that we can
Turn this into a beautiful story,
A story that'll last forever.
But why do I back off when it's the time?
Why can't I do it?
Why can't I make you mine?
The fear of rejection, the fear of losing you
Are you also holding back your feelings like I do?
All of these thoughts, I can't get over
I guess all that I wanted to say
Will endure inside me forever.
And you'll just remain my secret crush.
