"Oh Bella, if I wasn't in the predicament I'm in, I would be there with you." Elizabeth said sadly. "I know it's hard. Edward will come back for you. He can't stay away for long." Elizabeth smiled till her dad got on the phone. "Hey dad." She was shocked to hear that this was the first time Bella has talked. "She's depressed. Just give her some time and she will heal. Besides, Edward won't stay away forever dad." She smiled as she hung up and laughed. Hayley walked in wondering what was funny.
"What's funny?"
"Dad is holding a grudge against Edward." Elizabeth said.
"Don't blame him. Edward did leave her in the forest."
"Hayley, Bella practically followed him. It's more of her fault than his." Hayley nodded now understanding more. Elizabeth grabbed Elijah's journal and started reading as Hayley joined her. ~~~ Elizabeth decided to take a walk outside when Hayley stopped her. "Guess what."
"What?"
"Sabine, Sophie's friend say she can help me figure out what the baby is." Elizabeth watched Sabine walk in.
"Okay, I'm confused. I thought you couldn't do magic." Elizabeth said confused.
"It's not magic, it's a trick my grandmother has taught me." Sabine tells the Swan girl. ~~~ Elizabeth was sitting with Hayley when Klaus walked in. "Great news, I thought you two should know that Elijah is returning to us."
"Congratulations. I guess being diabolical has its perks." Elizabeth said as Hayley laughed.
"You hardly know him, and yet you miss him. What is it about my brother that always inspires such instant admiration?" Klaus asked Elizabeth.
"He was kind to me." Hayley said as she went back to reading.
"He promised to protect me." Elizabeth said. "No one has ever done that for me, but my friends back home."
Later that night Hayley and Elizabeth where trying to figure out what Sabine said. They used translator, but nothing has happened. Elizabeth sighed and laid her head on Hayley's shoulder as they sat in thought of what Sabine said.
