Annabelle’s prov
When I woke up I was feeling a lot better most of my cuts and bruises were gone how did they heal so fast? I wondered but whatever at least I was better. I could tell I sleep in because the sun was already up which I wasn’t used to since bill would wake me up at 4 in the morning and make me cook and clean and a lot of other stuff so it was nice to sleep in for once. I got dressed in a black and green dress that went down stairs I got the kitchen door and peaked my head through a little Mr. Snape was sitting in the kitchen reading what was called from what I could see the daily profit and had a cup of coffee in his hand I should leave him alone I was just about to leave when I heard the door to the kitchen open. I twirled around he really did scare me but before I could say anything a vase next to me exploded oh no this is it he is going to beat me I went to run away but Snape grabbed my upper arm really hard as I tried to break lose I fell hot tears run down my face he’s going to kick me out he’s going to beat me no no no no. I was now sobbing I am so scared what is he going to do to me
“P-please s-sir I’m so s-sorry it won’t h-happen aging” I begged and cried but he didn’t hit me he just looked at me strange and he keep his hard grip on my arm.

Snapes prov
I was in the kitchen reading the daily profit when I saw her peaking her head through the door she went to leave but I quickly got up and opened the door Annabelle trawled around and suddenly one of my vases exploded she just used accidental magic I when to say something but she looked scared and tried to run I grab her arm which must have scared her even more what have these muggels been doing to her she was crying her eyes out at this point what did she think I was going to do to her hit or punish her in some form I felt a pang of guilt hit me but quick brushed it off until she tried to speak.
“p-please s-sir I’m so s-sorry it won’t h-happen aging” she begged I just was shock on how scared she was Dumbledore told me she was miss treated but this was uncalled for I keep my firm grip on her arm and bent down to her level to speak to her.
“Annabelle don’t be scared I’m not going to hurt you its ok I’m not mad accidents happen now stop crying we need to talk” she picked her gaze up from the floor and looked at me she looked so helpless so scared she nodded her head and I guided her to the kitchen one thing was for sure as long as she’s with me she will be eating three times a day with snakes she was much too skinny and small for her age. I laid a plate of pancakes and eggs on the table for her she ate very slowly clearly enjoying every meal she got after she was done I called my house elf Ellen in to clean the plate while I had a chat with Annabelle.

Annabelle’s prov
I can’t believe he didn’t hit me or anything Mr. Snape even gave me those things I think they are called pamcakes but I don’t know but they were really good he even gave me eggs when I was at the orphanage bill would only feed me on Sundays and he would only give me a piece of bread and water. I was really scared of Mr. Snape still after I ate he called a name I think he said Ellen after that he grabbed my left wrist lightly and guided me to the living room and sat me down on the couch Mr. Snape sat next to me and began to speak.
“Child why did you try to run” Mr. Snape ask me in a almost caring tone I guess I should tell him I mean he said he wouldn’t hit me right so I guess I should explain.
“Well at the orphanage whenever something like that would happen I would get beaten and….. Some other things would happen for my punishment” Snape looked like he was angry not at me but at the person who did this to me.
“What other things” Snape said as though he already knew what I was talking about.
“Well um…… I-I would get well…” Snape cut me off before I could finish
“Spit it out girl” Snape said in a growling tone
“I would get raped” I really didn’t want to tell anybody but he seemed like if I didn’t he would hit me or something but on the other hand he seemed like he actually cared.
“I see well I will say this once none of that will be happening here you are safe nobody is going to hurt you ”Mr. Snape said in more as a matter of fact tone but now I was curious why did he adopt me he didn’t even know me.
“Um sir may I ask you a question “I said as I tried to sit up straight like he was
“Yes”
“I was wondering why did you adopt me I mean I didn’t even know you and we didn’t have a hour to meet each other like all the other kids did” Mr. Snape sighed and relaxed a little before he finally spoke.
“I adopted you because you are my niece your mother was my sister I didn’t find out about you until just last month. Since we are the subject matter I should ask you this Annabelle have you ever had anything happen around you when you’re sad, angry, or scared?”
I thought on this one well ya I did things the other kids couldn’t do and it was the reason nobody would come near me except for bill for my punishments.
“Yes lots of times “I wonder where he was going with this.
“Annabelle you are a witch” wait a minute did hear what he just said I’m a witch well that would explain everything that ever happened to me wow I’m a witch.
“I believe you that I’m a witch but how are you my uncle my parents didn’t want me and I was told I didn’t have any family” I ask a bit confused
“Your mother was keep a secret from my father until about two weeks before you were born I was told that my sister and you self both died while you were being born” my uncle said in a bored tone
“What were my parents’ names” I had to ask it has been killing me I have to know
“I don’t know who your father is however your mother’s name was Silvia Snape” my uncle said as he got up from the couch and picked me up I whimpered a little whenever someone would pick me up at the orphanage I was being punished or being brought to bed because I couldn’t walk after the beating. I felt hot tears running down my face and I yawned it was really late and I was scared Snape quickly realize he had scared me and pulled me into a tight hug as he walk up stairs to my bedroom I sobbed into his shoulder for about an hour he was saying comforting words like shhsh its ok it’s alright calm down your safe and other calming stuff like that. Snape was walking around the house rocking me a bit as he walk to try to get me to fall asleep which quickly work because as we were walking I closed my eyes and everything went black.
