Today was the golden globes, I was going for my new tv series that just aired on Netflix a few months ago.

I remember before it came out. I was pretty much a normal teenager who loved to act. When I got the call that I had booked the role for that Netflix tv series, I got so excited. Once the show had been filmed, I noticed that I was getting more followers on Instagram, then I was in my first interview, and by the time the show came out I had gain at least a million followers. It's kind of scary how fast your life can change.

This is my first ever awards show, I'm so excited, I'd been nominated for best drama actress of the year! I can't believe I even got nominated, there are so many amazing actresses that have more experience and talent then I ever will. I still remember the day I got the call.

Flashback
B/n (brothers name) and I were sitting on the couch while my mom made lunch. We were watching Stranger Things, and I was totally obsessing over Finn Wolfhard "you need to calm down y/n, he's just a guy that you'll probably never meet" b/n said laughing at me "whatever, and that's why it's called a celebrity crush," I said
rinnggg, rinnnggg "y/n, isn't that your phone?" My mom asked "oh yeah," I said and paused the tv, groaning as I got up to grab my phone "hello?" I ask "hey y/n, it's Caden (your manager), I have some news" my manager said excitedly into the phone "what going on?" I asked confused "well, you've just been nominated in the best actress category for the golden globes!" He squeals "no way! You're joking!" I yell, my mom looks at me confused, and my brother walked in the room "nope, it's happening, I'm going to book a day for you to get styled and find a dress" he said "ok, thank you!" I said "go celebrate with your family, have a good weekend" Caden said and we said goodbye before hangin up.
"What just happened?" My mom asked "I'm nominated in the best actress category for the golden globes!" I squealed, my mom almost started crying "oh, my baby's going to the golden globes!" She smiled widely "congrats y/n" my brother said with a smile.

Now I'm standing on the red carpet in my navy blue dress, that flowed just above my knees.

"Y/n, y/n! Over here!!" Interviewers, and photographers yelled, i posed for the camera before I was pulled on a platform with Ryan Seacrest "here we have y/n l/n! She's nominated for best actress y/n, how do you feel about this?" He asks me "oh wow, it's all amazing, kind of overwhelming though" I told him honestly "that's understandable, so is there anyone here that you're really excited to meet?" Ryan asks "Umm yeah actually, umm I'm hoping to meet Finn Wolfhard, and Millie Bobby Brown" I told him "oh, well it looks like you're in luck, there right over there, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Brown! Over here" Ryan yells, they look over and start walking this way.

I felt my hands starting to get sweaty and my breathing got heavy, I can't believe I'm actually about to meet the people that I've looked up to for years! I need to calm down, I can't make a fool of myself, especially not on tv.

"Hi Ryan, it's good to see you" Finn smiles "yeah, so we were just talking to miss y/n here, and she was telling us how she was hoping to meet you guys tonight" Ryan told them... great start to not embarrassing myself "oh my gosh! I'm such a huge fan, you're so talented!" Millie says with a huge smile as she pulls me into a hug "you're a fan of me? You have no idea how much that means to me! I'm such a big fan of yours, you're so talented... both of you are!" I said looking to Finn now who was staring at me "you're a really good actress y/n, I hope you won tonight" Finn says "thank you" I smiled happily. Two of my biggest idols, first of all, know who I am, and secondly, think that I'm talented.

After leaving the platform, Finn came up to me "hey y/n, sorry for not talking much, I just didn't really want to say too much on live tv, you know?" He asks "oh yeah, I totally understand! Hey, I didn't get to say it earlier, but I think you're such an amazing actor and musician, I've wanted to meet you for a while now actually... I sound like a creep, don't I?" I say laughing nervously "no you don't, and honestly, I've wanted to meet you since I started watching your show, you're extremely talented y/n" Finn smiles at me "thank you so much" I say while blushing.

By the end of the night, I had surprisingly won the award, and of course, I didn't have a speech prepared. A plus was that Finn and I exchanged numbers, and we talked a lot more at the after party. I have a feeling that we're going to be really good friends, and as much as I'd like us to be more then friends, I am so extremely happy and lucky that I even got to meet him, most people don't get to meet their idols, and I fortunately got to meet two of mine tonight.

All in all, this was by far one of the best nights of my entire life, and I am so excited to see what else I am able to accomplish in this amazing acting industry, and hey, who knows, maybe I'll get some more roles, and hopefully be I can one day able to work with some of my favorite actors and actresses
