one crash changes everything: Ezria

Am I dreaming?

*Ezra POV*

I write my name on the board of the junior English class that I am substituting for a few months. I don't know how to tell Aria or how she'll react but she is a sophomore so I probably won't be able to see her that often. I turn around to get a glance at my new students and I see the one that isn't suppose to be in the class staring at me.

Aria.

"Okay students, as your former English teacher, Mr. Dane, told me that we are reading The Great Gatsby. So turn your pages to page 89 and we will continue on there" I say aloud and all the students start to get their books out of their bags. I take one more glance and she's talking to the girl that visited her in the hospital, I think her name was Elena. I never told Aria that I was her English teacher in high school but she knows that I used to teach English, I wonder how's she's going to react.

"Okay, who wants to read first?" I grab my book from behind me and a few kids raise there hands to read. Almost Everyone reads besides Aria and Elena. This is going to be an interesting class.

*Aria POV*

I can't believe that Ezra Fitz is my English teacher.

"Isn't that the guy that signed your hospital papers" Elena asks.

"Yep" I nod awkwardly.

"What is he doing here being an English teacher?" Elena keeps asking questions.

"He used to teach English but I don't know why he's here so let's just try to stay distant"

"Okay" Elena Agrees with me.

"Okay, Who wants to read first?" He asks the class. A few people raised there hands and by the end of the class most people have read besides me and Elena and like 2 other people. The bell rings and Elena and I try to get out first but Ezra calls are names before we can leave.

"Aria and Elena, can I speak with you two?" He asks and we turn around and walk over to him.

"I see that you two are sophomores in a junior AP English class, isn't that right?"

"Our sophomores English teachers thought that we were advanced enough so she moved us up with the Juniors" I say softly.

"Ya, so if you want us to go back to the sophomores, you can't do that" Elena practically snaps at him.

"I don't want to kick you out I was just wondering. It's good that you girls are advanced to a higher level of English, I just don't want things to be awkward between us" He states.

"Oh it won't" Aria says in an annoyed tone. Soon the door opened and two boys walked in.

"Oh sorry, we didn't know you guys were talking, we were just wondering were you guys were" The blonde one says.

"It's okay, we're leaving right now" Elena says as she's walking grabbing the blonde boys hands.

"Goodbye Mr. Fitz" Aria says as she grabs the other boy with light brown hair's hand and he kisses her on the cheek and they walk out. For some reason I have this jealous rage building up on me. How am I supposed to win Aria Montgomery back when I let her go?
