Rose sat on her bed, the green sheets wrinkling under her.
"What was so important you had to bring us away from our work Jason?" She asked the boy.
Jason smoothed out his jet black hair, "I know this may sound crazy and weird,"
Jason shifted his gaze to his best friend Auram, once he motioned to continue he did, "Let's ask to leave, have an adventure and come back. It's not like the king would mind, you are seventeen,"
He looked at the maps plastered on Rose's wall, they are all worn, like they were a relic.
"You should see more of the world. So should me and Auram."
Auram chimed in, "He's right ya know? Maybe a break will be good for us."
Rose sighed, eyeing the same worn maps Jason had previously looked at, "Can we talk about this after I am done with my work? I need to process."
The boys nodded, "I know your book is important to you, just keep us in mind as well."
