"Room 18... Room 18..." I wandered through the halls of the school, muttering to myself. I had recently joined a new high school after moving into the area. My parents have been nagging me for days to join a club so here I am, looking for the club room. What club did I join? The art club. Why the art club? Simple. Every artist in high school is either an otaku or a theatre kid. If I'm going to be making friends then I'd like to have something in common with them.
I turned the corner and looked at the door on one of the rooms. "18..." I suppose this is the right room. I heard some quiet chatter in there so I assume the members of this club were already in there. I decided to knock first, as that's the polite thing to do...
.
.
The door didn't open. I knocked again... No answer...I decided to just step inside. I turned the handle on the door and pushed the door open, "E-Excuse me, I-"
I paused and stared at who I thought were the members of the art club. Six humanoid creatures were sitting around a desk, one of which sitting on the table.
One of them had dirty blonde hair and innocent golden eyes. While that was somewhat normal, his skin was a dark green colour which faded to an even darker green around his claw-like hands. He also had two small black horns poking out the front of his head.
The boy sitting next to him had dark red skin with orange patches dotted around, somewhat like vitiligo. His hair was a dark shade of garner and his eyes were a bright green. His ears were pointed, just like an elves' and he had dark purple-ish bandages wrapped around his hands.
Next to him was a boy with pale blue skin and a single ruby eye, his other eye was made up of pink and purple flowers. His hair was a light reddish purple and it was pulled back in a short low ponytail. On his right arm he had a fishnet sleeve that went up to his elbow.
Sitting on the desk was a blonde boy with animal ears and tail. He wore glasses over his navy blue eyes and had cheek gauges. I noticed his arms were like a dolls; balljointed. His fingernails were also painted black. He looked a lot more human than the others but he was still certainly unusual.
On the other side of the table was a boy with pale green skin and darker green hair which faded into a light greenish yellow, bangs covering his right eye. His iris was yellow while his sclera was black. His right arm was completely made out of vines, stems and pink flowers. Flowers grew out of his face and he wore a flower crown on his head.
Lastly was a dark skinned girl. She had dark brown hair that was shaved on one side and elbow length the other, her eyes a bright orange colour. She would look perfectly normal if it wasn't for her melting, slimey skin and her elf-like ears.
The other creatures in the room turned there head to me, probably waiting for me to finish my sentence. I was too dumbfounded though. I had seen enough anime to know where this was going and I'm not complaining one bit. Not gonna lie, these monster people were cute.
"Uh.. Ahem... I'm M-Matthew Reeves. I was wondering if I could join the art club.
The boy with dark green skin seemed to light up, "YESSSS NEW MEMBER!" He shot up and grasped my hand with his own claw-like ones, shaking them, "Welcome! I'm Elson! That's Kame, Andrew, Aston, Ari and Noel!"
Like hell I'll remember those names.
"El, you're gonna scare the poor dude away." The blonde one sighed before introducing himself, "Hey, I'm Aston. Welcome to the art club." He smirked at me. Damn that smirk was hot.
I feel like I'm going to like it here.
