Chapter 9: Party Time

Hero POV

"Omg! Yay!" Mercy yelled.

Soon as Jo was out of my arms Mercy ran to her and hugged her. Right after my sister let go of my now fiance she ran into my arms and said "I'm so happy for you big bro. Trust me I got amazing photos of this moment" "Thanks Little Nuget"

As we walked over the bridge back home Jo's hand was in mine and I couldn't believe that we are going to get married in the future. As if Jo was reading my mind she stopped and turn to end up in front of me. "I'm so happy right now. I can't wait to be married to you" as she finishes her sentence she reaches up and gives me a kiss.

Jo's POV

As we arrive back at Hero's before opening the door he swings my around and into his arms and gives me the biggest kiss. "I love you"

As we walk into the house it's quite, then out of nowhere everyone jumps out from hiding, scaring me. "OH MY GOD!" I yell and then feel arms slowly wrap around me and I know that it's Hero. He leans his chin on my shoulder and says "This is all for you baby" he then kisses my check, before Mercy ripps me out of his arms and brings me to the kitchen for a drink. I see the guy walk over to Hero to congratulate him. "Omg! Anna! What are you doing here?" I screamed as I ran around the kitchen to hug her. "Hero told me he was gonna propose and I couldn't miss this, I kinda the reason you two met in the first place" "That's very true" I laugh. "I'm so happy for you two. Ok, now show me that ring"

Me, Anna, Mercy and the rest of the girls talk for around an hour before we get a ring at the door. "Who could that be?" I ask the girls and begin to walk to the door. Once I get to the door I can see out of the corner of my eye that Hero was standing against the wall 10 meters away.

As I opened the door, my mouth dropped and I was in shock. "Congratulations!" I feel everyone walk in the door and give me a massive hug. "Omg! What are you guys doing here?" "Hero told us and we booked our flights as soon as possible," Innanna says. "We couldn't miss this" Shane says. I look over at Hero and he begins to walk over to me. "I can't believe you did this" "Just you wait there's more to come" "what! Who else is coming"

And as if on clue I hear my favourite voice, "You really think that Hero wouldn't invite me!"

I turn around, "Katherine!" I run into Katherines arms and hug tight. "I'm the one who helped with the ring and I'm the one you told him to do it in the first place little sis" "Hey that's not true, I asked you if it was time" Hero said stepping in. Everyone just laughed.

As everyone had walked in and got settled, I pulled Hero aside. "I love you so much, you didn't have to go to this length for all this" "I would do anything for you and this is our engagement party we deserve to have all our friends here to celebrate." "True, you're so amazing. I'm not gonna leave your side for the rest of the night because I don't want to let you go" "i'm fine with that baby girl"

Throughout the night we talked about the most random things, played a few drinking games which has led me to feel a little tipsy. Through the whole night me and Hero we're all 'lovey dovey' as Anna called it, but by the time it was 3am everyone had gone home or back to their hotels.

As I was getting changed into one of Hero's shirts to sleep in I feel arms creep around my waist and start to feel small light kisses on my neck and shoulder. "Oo, I could get used to that" I say slowly. "Put that shirt on before I can't stop myself young lady" "Is that right Mr fiance?" "Wow, I like the sound of that" "Get used to it baby"

I climb into bed and Hero joins me 5 minutes later. As I watch him walk to our bed I can't help but stare and drool over my now fiance. "Dam baby" I couldn't help myself but say. Hero climbs into bed and pulls me into his arms, "And this is all yours baby" he whispers into my ear.
