Chapter 1 - Dawn

The night was cold and the breeze was playing with the bare branches of the trees while the moonlight was making dark and terrible contours on the frozen ground.Ella was slowly walking towards the mill in her white nightie feeling the coldness on her bare feet with her long brown hair playing around her face.Her heart was beating so fast but she didn't stop,something was pulling her to that mill.She could hear the echo through the tress and leaves around her calling her to come closer. The mill was on the creek,she could hear the water running over stones so peacefully making the atmosphere fresh and clear.The old mill had small square window and the broken doors hanging only on the bottom hinge with the crooked paddles on the left corner.It wasn't used for years,maybe even centuries as the places wasn't familiar to Ella.

As she came in front of the mill,she stopped.Her eyes were focused on the dark wooden window and she felt magnetic power pulling her towards the window.She wanted to stop,but her body didn't listen. Voices became louder and louder that she felt a warm drops dripping out of her ears and her brain was on fire,she could feel the blood running trough every vein to the thinnest nerve of her body.Every heart beat sounded like the bell on the church tower,intense and stentorian.As she approached the window,everything around her became so calm,no wind,no sounds ,not even the creek,trees frozen in one specific position and the moonlight within the few seconds lit up the drive to the mill and got Ella out of the shadows.She took a few deep breaths and as she opened her eyes,out of the window a pair of the red oval wide open eyes were starring at her.A creature similar to human slowly was climbing out of the window using his feet and arms,wearing almost nothing watching at her like hypnotized. At the other moment it smiled creepy and jumped on Ella.She fell on the ground trying to pull the creature of her while it was attacking her and making the noise screamingly. It bite her on the neck and she somehow managed to turn over and there in front of her she saw a beautiful white horse moving so gracefully and she could swore that it had a head of a man.The feelings were so confused,she felt pain in her body and on the other hand that horse gave her hope and strength.

She woke up all covered in sweat not knowing is it true or not as she could feel the pain and the adrenaline running trough her system.In one jump she got out of the bed and in the other she was out of her room full of anger and urge to release the tension she felt.Her aunt Nina,Tony and Anna got out of their room as they heard someone making the noise in the kitchen.Ella was standing there with the knife in her hand obviously upset and exhausted.

„Ella,love...Put the knife down,please. " , Tony tried to calm her down and approached slowly to her .

„It will be all right. Everything is fine. Just take a deep breath and put it down. You don't need it. " , he continued.

In one move she lift the knife up and cut his throat out.The blood splattered over Ella as she was standing there so quietly like nothing happened. Nina screamed out of the tears and covered her face as she was running away but her feet were dragging behind her and she fell.Ella was already there with the knife above her head and stabbed Nina repeatedly as the blood was splashing all over the walls. Anna saw that as she came out of her room.

„What are you doing Ella ? " , she screamed.

Ella looked at her senselessly and jumped out of Nina . Anna ran downstairs and hide herself in the closet.Ella was going down slowly step by step and stopped in front of the closet.She threw the knife and it rammed into the wooden doors.Anna gasped and covered her mouths with her hands trying to calm and not to make any noise.For a minute it was so peaceful. All of the sudden Ella swung the closet with so much strength and finally knocked it down. Anna got out crying and begging Ella to stop.

„ Ella, we are friends...Do you remember us ? We used to share secrets and go out together. " , Ella stopped for a second and really looked at her eyes. Anna continued :
