Michael jumped at Jeremy.
''New schoooll!!'' He said happily, still a bit annoyed with his feminine voice.
''Oof- Oh, hey dude! I know, I'm so excited! You should talk to the school. You know, the registers might still have you as... your deadname.'' Jeremy looked down. He didn't want to make Michael sad by mentioning it, but...
''O-Ohhh, yeah. Uhm, could you come with me?''
''Of course!
The pair made their way to the principal's office, Michael nervously playing with the strings on his hoodie. There were a few patches now: A trans flag, a pair of headphones, and a rainbow heart. Nobody had caught on to the rainbow heart yet. Or, they just didn't say anything about it.
See, Michael had realised he liked boys a while ago.
It was... hard for him, as he realised because of a very manipulative relationship. He hadn't told Jeremy because he didn't want to, but back before he realised he was a boy, he dated Dustin Kropp. But now, he was free of it, and free to be himself!
As they entered the office, Michael nervously chewing the strings of his hoodie, Jeremy decided to say it for his friend.
''Uh, hi, I'm Jeremy Heere, this is Michael Mell. In the register they typed it wrong and, well, autocorrect made it Michelle. Sooo yeah. Can you change it? Oh, awesome, thank you!''
''Can we go now, Jer?'' Michael mumbled.
''Sure, Mikey.''
