Scene 1
Marilyn (Jenna), Teresa (Stephanie), and Thalia (Lisa) are in a park located in San Francisco gossiping about things they've heard at school about their friend Dahlia (Stephanie).
Marilyn (Jenna): Have you talked with Dahlia ? (Looking at Teresa)
Teresa (Stephanie): No I haven't.
Thalia (Lisa): Yeah I haven't seen her lately either. but did you hear about the rumor that's going around?
Teresa (Stephanie): Oh my god you mean the one about her mom and Dahlia's boyfriend?
Marilyn (Jenna): Do you guys really believe those rumors I mean seriously, what kind of mother would do something like that?
Thalia (Lisa): I mean to be fair we haven't heard from her in like, almost a week now. She hasn't been coming to school, AND she hasn't posted anything with her boyfriend..
Teresa (Stephanie): That's true she ALWAYS posts something with him and what a coincidence that this rumor is out and suddenly she just disappears.
Marilyn (Jenna): Let's not just jump to conclusions. Maybe we should talk to her first before we assume anything. I'll go to her house after school and talk to her.
Thalia (Lisa): Let me know what she says because I can't go. I have soccer practice.
Teresa (Stephanie): Yeah and I have to tutor today.
Scene 2
The scene goes dark and it opens up to a living room with Marilyn and Dahlia sitting on the
couch, Dahlia looks embarrassed
Marilyn (Jenna): So...
Dahlia (Stephanie): So...

Marilyn (Jenna): How's everything? I haven't seen you in a week. Is everything fine?
Dahlia (Stephanie): yes everything's fine...
Marilyn (Jenna): Doesn't seem like it...
Dahlia (Stephanie): I'm fine.
Marilyn (Jenna): Are you sure? Maybe there's something going on with your mom... or your boyfriend... (makes a gesturing facial expression trying to imply something)

Marilyn (Jenna): (stands up) Look, the girls and I were just worried. We haven't heard from you in a while and we were hearing all these rumors about...you know. And you also haven't posted him on your snapchat story in like, a week. I was just thinking.. maybe the rumors were true.
