My Heart Belongs To One || Kim Taehyung

Chapter 1~

*A/N: As I promised, I am back with another different story. Hope y'all like it!*

A long, long time ago, there was a man who was so heartbroken that he decided to curse at the moon out of anger. The moon cursed him as well with the ability to turn into a werewolf. Every time there was a full moon, he would turned into the beast inside of him with no humanity. 

At the same time, there was a woman who also cursed at the moon for different reasons and was punished with the same fate. Eventually, they both met, found out they were mates since she was his Luna, and had five kids, two females, and three males. 

All five of them grew up to be werewolves like their parents, so they decided to form their own pack of skilled werewolves when they mated with other werewolves, and created more offspring. 

As each generation passed, their werewolf abilities became less and less limited to the point where they could transform at any moment and had more, but not total, control over their beast self. 

The great-great-great grandson of one of those five kids, has become the new leader of the Black Swan pack.

His name is Kim Taehyun and because his mother died when he was really young, he became like his father. Cold, heartless, fearless, frightening, meticulous, cruel, and with no regard for anyone's life.

He has two older stepbrothers, Kim Seokjin, and Kim Namjoon. The other members of his pack are Jung Hoseok, Min Yoongi, Jeon Jungkook, and Park Jimin.

In another branch of the original family, a very strange girl named Im Seol Hee was brought into the world.

She has been kept in the dark about the werewolf world and lived with her grandmother until she died. Since then, she's lived by herself ever since.

She's halfway done with college and one step closer to her dream of becoming a photographer. She's your usual happy, optimistic, kind hearted girl with a positive view of the world.

Her past is unknown to her, so she always has something covering her neck and has no one to ask questions about her secret. Or so she thinks.

These five powerful packs have forgotten that they are all basically family, which is why they are now enemies.

Seol Hee's POV -

The sun was beginning to set on the horizon and I was still not done taking pictures. I've been walking around taking these pictures all day now, but it was still not enough for me.

There are just so many beautiful things in this world, like some of the people and landscapes, and I wish I could travel everywhere to see and capture more moments.

As I was packing up and heading toward a nearby bus stop, I was knocked to the ground with so much force that I didn't have time to scream. I think I hit my forehead on the pavement.

I was dragged to my feet as dizzy as I was.

        "I won't let you kill me and now I have this little girl to shield me. You don't wanna expose yourself to a human do you, Taehyung?" said the man who is holding me in front of him. A human? What are they? Vampires? Goblins? Witches?

The man in front of me, who is apparently Taehyun, looks like he's about 5'10" and wearing something out of the ordinary for running.

        "Did you forget that I can dispose of this insignificant girl just as easily as I can get rid of you, Ethan?" responded Taehyun in a rough and deep voice.

The guy behind me grit his teeth and I can guess why. The street was completely empty so the only thing stopping this man from killing him is me.

        "If you kill me, you won't get your money," replied Ethan, who's grip on my throat is making my scarf choke me slightly. Don't think he'll care if I tell him he's choking me.

My body was shaking of fear earlier, but now it's frozen as I heard Ethan's inside voice and saw where the money is.

        "I would rather kill you as payment," said Taehyun, walking closer with a gun and a knife as we stepped back.

        "Wait, wait, wait! How about we make a deal? If I tell you where the money is, can you spare my life?" he stopped and cocked his head to the side to look at me.

        "How would you know where it is when I never told anyone?" Ethan spoke with fear mixed with anger.

        "I have my ways, which I'm not going to tell you, and no, I'm not his accomplice because I don't know him," for some reason I feel like he narrowed his eyes.

        "So, you're a mind reader, then? Quite a useful gift, but fine, I'll let you live if you tell me where the money is, of course," I heard Ethan gasp and whisper his denial.

This guy is irritating me since he was ready to throw away my life and now look at him. He's also still touching me, so I bit his hand and hit him really hard on his face with my elbow.

Taehyun was ready to deliver his blow until he saw that I didn't flee and stopped. I proceeded to tell him the location so I could go home right away.

He called someone and confirmed the information I gave him while I just tapped the floor with my foot impatiently and glared at him.

        "Alright, little girl, you've got thirty seconds to vanish from my sight before I change my mind," there was something odd about his voice as he began counting.

It annoyed me that he called me little girl, but I would rather he didn't know my name so I have to suck it up, although something tells me that it'll be easy for him to find out what my name is.

Thirty seconds is not enough, damn it!

I caught a glimpse of bright, golden eyes before I ran away as fast as my feet would take me.
