Season 2 Episode 2 Rose
San Francisco Three months later Dove's POV
I placed the blindfold on Jason's face, covering his eyes I tied knot securing it before sitting down on the small seat behind him ready to watch him and Gar being their training.
"When I give the word, come at me, and don't hold back," Jason said holding out his wooden sword "did you just nod?"
"Yeah, got it. Don't hold back" Gar said
"Go!" Jason shouted
Hitting Gar's sword out the way Jason held his near Gar's neck, pushing it down Gar swung at Jason's head missing by inches Jason lifted his sword quickly in front of Gar's chest, confused Gar waved his hand in front of Jason's blindfolded face, stepping away Gar lazily put his sword on his shoulder while Jason twirled his around his head getting back in his first stance. Gar smacked his sword against Jason's who quickly defended himself pushing both forward and spinning his over his head once again, slashing at Gar who dogged it.
Clashing swords Jason pushed Gar backwards towards the edge of the mat knocking him over, Jason stumbled a little further forward turning quickly Gar blocked Jason's attack swinging his arms over his head and crouching down missing Jason's foot. As soon as Gar stood up from the mat Jason was aiming for Gar's stomach, bending slightly Gar was able to dodge the attack.
Stepping away from each other Gar and Jason circled each other before Gar made the first move slamming his sword forward missing they clashed on the floor turning, being back to back, the two lifted and aimed for the other side clashing again Jason hit Gar in his side knocking him off and hitting him in the stomach.
Lifting his leg to hit Gar Jason missed along with the attack by his sword, flipping off the mat multiple times Jason landed in front of me with his back to Gar and his sword pointing towards me, taking a few steps forwards Gar slapped Jason on the back of the head with the wooden object causing Jason to hunch forward and rip the blindfold off his face
"Fuck man!" Jason asked annoyed
"You said don't hold back" Gar replied
"What were you doing? I was fucking blindfolded"
"You said, 'Don't hold back"
"Should I get the hose?" Rachel asked entering the room
"What's going on?" Dick asked following her
"We did what you said, the blindfold thing, then he went nuts on me," Jason said
"You told him not to hold back," Gar said defensively
"Then why do we even learn to fight like this, man?" Jason asked "hey, it's idiotic. We have eyes"
"In battle, anything can be taken from you. Your hands..." Dick said twisting Jason's hand and taking his wooden sword, attacking Gar who quickly blocked him and dick stabs the floor between his feet "your feet..." twirling it in his hands he throws it in my direction and I catch it with one hand the tip in between centimetres away from the bridge of my nose
