\\\It was 2AM. Gingko felt numbness again. He lay in his bed, staring at the white ceiling. His arms were cold and his fingers, he couldn't feel. He didn't feel like calling for James or for Seth. They'd just shoot more medicine that supposedly help him, into him. Oh, Gingko. You're so pathetic. His friend said to him. "No, I'm not." He said simply. You are. Look at you. You can't feel pain, you killed your family. You, my friend, are pathetic. His friend kept talking to him. "You're annoying me." Gingko kept calm. Gingko learned to ignore his friend, ever since he got his little attitude. Gingko sat up, barely keeping steady. His arms and fingers were still numb, but he didn't care. Dizziness hit him too. He let his body fall back on to his plain excuse of a bed.

Gingko forced himself to sit up, and put his back lying on the wall. He stared out the one window that he had in his room. It was a small room. Small because he was a murder. Don't you feel bad? You're a killer, and you get treated like utter shit. His friend began bothering him again. "I don't care. My family deserved it." Gingko was getting a bit irritated. Are you sure? You're a liar. I hate you! The voice echoed loud in his voice. You are nothing but worthless shit! You should've died with your family. "You're a wonderful friend, Herashio." Gingko wanted to punch Herashio in the face. That's what Gingko's friends' name is. No one else can see him. You're an imbecile. Herashio was sitting next to Gingko. "Say another word, and I will kill you." Gingko's voice became hard. You want to start playing games, Gingko? Surely we can play games! Gingko watched Herashio get up and walk through the walls on to the other side of the window.

Gingko gritted his teeth. "WHEN WILL YOU STOP FOLLOWING ME? YOU'RE THE WORTHLESS SHIT. YOU HAVE NO LIFE, ALL YOU DO IS FOLLOW ME AROUND." Gingko screamed at him. Gingko got up and smashed his fist against the window. "YOU WON'T BE ANYTHING. YOU ARE SHIT, HERASHIO." Gingko hit his fists against the glass.

Soon after this began, Seth and James rushed into the room. Seth pulled back Gingko to the bed, holding him down. James looked at Gingko in the eyes, trying to calm him down without any use of drugs. "Gingko, you're ok. Remember, you need to ignore him. He's a nuisance. You know you're better than him." Gingko ignored James' attempts. James shook his head at Seth. Seth pulled out a small needle filled with a small dousage of anesthesia. James helped turn Gingko onto his back, as Gingko fought back and fidgeted. Seth inserted the needle quickly and carefully at the bottom of his back, and Gingko soon fell relaxed, and asleep. James sighed to himself. "This is always a handful." Seth only nodded in agreement. "We'll wake him up for public time." Public time was the 4 hours that patients would ever see each other. It helped some patients out, but others disliked it.

Seth and James fixed Gingko back onto his head and let him sleep. James never liked it when any of the patients had tantrums, but it was always bound to happen. Seth sighed. "This is a hard job." James could only nod in agreement. It is a hard job, but even so, it's some-what enjoyable. He thought to himself.

Seth and James locked up Gingko's room and walked down the hallway. Seth occasionally yanked on the patient's doors, making sure they're all locked. Seth enjoyed patrolling the hallways more than dealing with patients. He liked to talk and always needed someone to talk to. James wasn't fit for that.

They both got back to the office right by ward 1, and sat down. James hopped onto the computer looking at Ward 1 patient files. He did this to learn more about the patients and patterns to look for them. Seth sat down and read the weekly reports from the other nurses about other ward patients. I think I like Ward 1. Seth didn’t understand how the other nurses could work with just Schizophrenic patients, or even hypomania patients. It didn’t click in his head, merely because he did enjoy working with murders. Something about them was interesting and made him want to learn more about him. Gingko was his favorite. He’s seen Gingko completely calm and ‘look’ normal enough to work in society, but then he’s seen Gingko’s falling points. Gingko has threatened to kill Seth.

James’ favorite was Harper. Harper was a necrophiliac, but doesn’t know it. Harper is in ward 1 for the murder of multiple people. Not just people, whores. Harper was an interesting character. He’s socially awkward.
