I intend to capture elements of Timmy's personality in this story, not make every aspect of him and his relationships correlate to real life.

I'm British, I've never set foot in the US (let alone in New York) and I made the dubious decision of setting a story there.
I.e. it's hard for me to get everything correct, so if you're a New Yorker and you feel like I've mangled your city, sorry. There's only so much you can pick up from a twenty minute Walk Around NYC With Me video 😌😌
