The first two years of school, nothing much happened. We were just a normal class, happy to learn something and gain interests and hobbies. We were ambitious, and rightfully so. We were the best students all across our county. The teachers were happy with us, since we had good morals and would be willing to adapt. Well, most of us, that is. Of course Leah had a hard time. She was battling even the easier of exams, because she was not willing to invest time into learning. Instead, she's found herself a new hobby. Leah and Simonne discovered korean pop music. This was around 2016, so kpop was starting to become really popular. They became hooked. It was the only music they listened to. They seemed happy.
But under the surface, this was far from the truth. Cracks were starting to form in both the relationship of the two girls, and the whole class. Everyone noticed that Leah seemed a bit bitchy. We did not like this behaviour, as we were peaceful students, and any disruption was harshly punished. She thought she was untouchable, but that was obviously not true.
Me and my best friend, Danny, were keeping in touch with her. We would chat on occasion, but nothing serious. We had our own business, she had her's, you get the idea. On the contrary, we were good friends with other girls in our class. Adele was one of the main protagonists and one day, for some reason, she wanted to speak to us privately. We like her, so we didn't have an issue and accepted her request. "Maxwell, Danny, this is important", said Adele. "I've heard that you boys are talking mad shit about us, and we don't like that." We were SHOCKED. What does she mean? We aren't aware of such mishaps from our side. "What?" i swiftly answered. "Leah here told us that you hate us and are plotting against us for a long time, could you please seize all activity of this sort?" she continued. We got the memo immediately. Leah has told the same things to us, but with reversed roles. Suddenly it all made sense. We informed Adele of this discovery and she immediately knew what's up. We decided to keep it a secret though, what if we could get something more out of her? Surely this isn't a one-time done deal.
