The Knights of the Church
The Masters of Magic
The Kingdom of Vantor
Our story starts in the mountainside of Vantor.
As everyone knows, the Knights of the Church and the Masters of Magic have always been at war. After all, their beliefs just cannot coexist. For this reason, the Kindom of Vantor does its best to keep the two guilds as far apart as possible. Unfortunately, this doesn't stop the two factions from trying to spy on each other.
It was a quiet night in the Masters of Magic's castle. Unbeknownst to the Masters, however, a Knight of the Church was among them. Her name was Amelia Johnston, a black knight, the lowest order of knights. She had one job: gather intel on the Masters of Magic and report back to the Knights by the end of the week. Many had tried, and most had failed, but she was convinced that her disguise would work this time. She was clad in the robes of a Blue Mage, Mages who used magic spells to attack or defend.
As curfew grew closer, Amelia was hidden in the library, hoping to sneak a peek at some of the magical texts that were on the walls. Books as old as time were the most valuable, and thus must be stolen first. The curfew bell rang out three times, meaning that she only had 15 more minutes. She tensed up as she grew anxious. This mission was vital to the knights if they wanted to successfully end the Masters of Magic.
The clock hit midnight, and the bell struck again. It was time for her mission to commence. She hid in the oldest part of the library, where no-one would find her. Almost immediately, she found a book titled, "Principia Et Magia."
"This is it!" She thought to herself. As she reached for the book, she suddenly heard a voice.
"What are you doing here?"
Instantly she reared back and drew her hidden dagger. In front of her was a Red Mage with a blank face.
"I would rather you keep that blade away from me," the Mage said, putting his hands up in a fighting stance. His body lit up with magic as he prepared to fight.
"You mages are all the same, aren't you?" Amelia said, putting the dagger away. The Mage instantly drew back and took a calmer stance.
"Now then, tell me, Knight. What are you doing here?"
"You damn well know what I'm here for," Amelia said as she backed up.
"Leave now or I'll have to thrust you out. Or kill you. Depends on my mood," He said, walking towards her.
"It will take more than that to scare a Knight of the Church!" Amelia said as she held her ground.
The Mage walked closer and took down his hood.
To be continued when my writer's block goes away...
