Spencer Reid's Surprise

Part 4

After making sure Ellie was fine wither her babysitter Spencer left for work

Another day. Another case.

But his would be the first time he had left Ellie to go catch a serial killer which meant he wouldn't physically see his daughter for days. Just the thought of it made him miss her.

Luckily when Spencer arrived at work and Garcia started her debrief he learned that they wouldn't have to fly anywhere. Today's serial killer operated right here in Quantico, Virginia. 

Of course it still wasn't settling to know about an active serial killer in the same city as his daughter even though he knew the statistics of course. 

Three prostitutes had been brutally murdered and drugged. The reproductive organs were mutilated far worse than the team had aver seen. The victim had been stabbed so many times it looked like her legs were only held to her body with only a fraction of the flesh that was left. Rage. Overkill.

The tox screen hadn't come back yet so they had no clue what the unsub used to drug the victims yet.

"Alright Reid and JJ go to the coroners office, Rossi, Morgan and I will visit the most recent crime scene." Hotch said.

Spencer and JJ arrived at the coroners office quickly. There wasn't much information they could gather from the body that they didn't already know.

Unsub displays obvious hate towards women and his rage leads to overkill. No hesitation. 

The only hope they had was finding out what drugs the unsub used on the victim.

"Sorry to keep you waiting agents. Here is my report including the tox screen. Unfortunatly I have to leave again but feel free to stay as long as you need." The coroner left as quickly as he had entered.

JJ 's eyes scanned the official document.

"Hey Spence, do you know what these drugs are?"

Spencer looked over her shoulder at the report. "Well there extremely strong meds that are usually perscribed to people with incredibly severe depression and post traumatic stress"
