The Prince With Wings

Chapter 3

Peter's P.O.V.
"Okay so the first thing I will show you are the lanterns they do it every year for the Prince but since the castle is a little far all I will show you for now is what's out there then we can go to the castle" Wade says as he is back on the ground

I notice he is very tall compared to me "okay that's fine" I said "aww is that your pet bunny" he asked pointing behind me 

I turned to see Tiny "Yea this is bunny" I said picking him and walked over to Wade he pet his head I looked at him and he looked at me 

He was really handsome we stared into each other's eyes. He looked away quick and started to look around "How do we get out of here" Wade asked

"huh I don't know I guess we go through the waterfall I think that's where my dad exits" I said "wait let me see first" he said walking over to the waterfall

I put Tiny on my shoulder and looked around the cave I can't wait to leave this place. Sure it's my home but I am turning 19 years old in a few days I need to get out 

"Peter I found a way" I heard Wade say I sighed then walked over to him and saw a path I never saw it before "come on let's go" he said extending his hand towards me I held onto it

He walked me out of the cave the more he walked me out of the cave the more I saw the world I saw everything 

I saw birds flying, the grass, tree's, rocks and a pond it is beautiful the fresh air hitting my wings "So what do you think" Wade asked "It's amazing here can you hold Tiny while I take a quick flight" I said taking Tiny off my shoulder 

"Sure" he said I handed him Tiny which he took in his hands I flapped my wings faster and the next thing I know I am off the ground and in the sky. 

This feels amazing I can't believe I am out of that old dump the air under my wings feel amazing. I looked around the landscape and everything was amazing. 

On the far side I could see a huge castle I flew back down to the ground landing safely. "Okay so what's the first" I asked getting Tiny and putting him on my shoulder

"So we can walk through the forest until we get back to the castle, there is a restaurant around here so I will take you there" Wade said "Okay if people are there do you think they will freak out because of my wings" I asked 

"They might I'll let you wear my hood" Wade said he took off his hood/coat which left him to his pants, shirt and shoes, he put it around me and tied it not too tight not too loose. 

I tucked in my wings "Can you see them" I asked 

Wade's P.O.V.
I just stared at him he is breath taking I never let anyone wear my hood "Uh Wade you alright" I heard Peter say "huh yeah I can't see your wings" I said 

"Okay good" he said As we walked through the forest I would ask him questions "How long would you want to stay outside" I asked 

"Well I never want to go back but my dad will be back in a few days so I guess I'll be back in a few days" he said 

"How come you never left your cave" I asked "Well my dad would tell me the stories of the outside world how people don't like these types of things they don't like unique and that they will kill me because of my wings" he said

I was shocked I can't believe his dad was putting lies in his head sure the world isn't perfect but not all people are bad. "Don't worry I'll protect you" I said 

"Thanks but I can defend myself" he said I nod we were close to the restaurant and we got to know each other better.

We had a pretty long walk as well it's far from the cave "okay when we enter don't freak out okay I know these guys and don't show your wings if you don't want to" I said 

He nod I saw the restaurant it was like a cabin but totally different inside we walked to the door I opened the door letting Peter enter first then I entered 

Peter's P.O.V.
As we went in I looked around it was pretty cool there was tables, chairs, a huge fireplace, people dancing, people fighting with swords and people eating

"Wade" I heard someone yell it was a boy coming our way "Hey Drew what's up" Wade said "I just wanted to tell you that Ren wants us at the castle before the celebration" Drew said 

"Okay I'll be there is my horse still here" Wade asked "Yes Max is still here oh where are my manners hello little man my name is Drew" Drew said to me 

"Hi Drew my names Peter" I said "peter" he said quietly thinking. "Any way Drew where's your boyfriend think he can get us some chicken tenders for us please" Wade said

"Yeah I'll bring them up in a bit nice meeting you Peter" Drew said "nice meeting you too Drew" I said as Drew smiled at us and walked away
