The office is busy.. Teachers running riot. Principal McGee turns to her 'secretary' and asks "Blanche, do you have the new schedule??" She licks her finger and answers her "Yes Mrs McGee, i just had my hands on them" "Oh good, they'll be nice and smudged." "Oh here they are" she says and hands them over to her. "If it had been a snake, it'd have bitten me" "Blanche, these are the schedules we couldn't find last semester. Now, maybe next year you'll find the ones for this semester" The corridors are hectic, everyone's talking, messing about and catching up after not seeing one another. Back to the office- "Looks like Jisoo again." "She's been here longer than i have" a teacher retorts. "The first day of school and already my caster oil is missing!" "How many days till Christmas vacation?" another teacher asks, hopeful that it's not long.. In swoops, Jennie Kim, former New Zealand student and says "86." Said teacher turns to her and questions in disbelief "86?!" Jennie smiles at her and says "i'm counting..." Mrs McGee walks over to Jennie and questions "May i help you, dear?" "Oh yes, this is my first day of school, i'm not really sure where i'm supposed to be." she comments hesitantly. "Well, Welcome to Rydell. You'll have to fill out a few of these forms... Will you excuse me for a second?" Mrs Mcgee walks off, ready to shout at some students. "Oh excuse me, do you have a pencil please?" "Oh yes, dear. Here ya are.." Jennie looks at the pencil, not sure what to think of it, and starts filling out the forms.. ———————————————— The second bell rings, the corridors are yet again hectic and full of rushing students, trying to get to class. Lessons have started, for everyone but the T-Birds. They're standing in the corridor, smoking cigarettes and messing around. That's until, Jung-kook complains "Jeez. Every teacher i got this year has flunked me at least once!" "If you don't watch it, you're gonna be spending all your time in Mcgee's office" Taehyung warns him. "Yeah, well this year she's gonna wish she'd never seen me!" "Oh yeah? and what are you gonna do?" Taehyung questions him. "I just ain't gonna take any of her crap. That's all, i don't take no crap from no body" Jung-kook says, without realizing one thing: Principle McGee was standing right behind him. "Jung-kook?" He quickly turns around and stutters out an answer "Oh, hello, ma'am" "Aren't you supposed to be in homeroom right now?" "I was just going for a walk" he excused "You were just dawdling, weren't you?" "Yes ma'am." "That is no way to start a new semester, Mr Jeon." *he mutters something in Korean* "Perhaps a session of BANGING erasers after school would put you on the right track." she reprimands. "Yes, ma'am." "Are you just going to stand there all day?" "No, ma'am. I mean, yes ma'am. I mean- I'm just..." "Well which is it? yes or no?" she asks sharply. "No, ma'am" he replies quietly. "Good! Then move!" "Yes ma'am." —- Once she walks off, Lisa walks over to Jung-kook and teases him by saying "I'm sure glad you didn't take any of her crap, Kook. You would've really told her off, huh?" The rest of the boys join in by saying in a shrill voice "Mr Jeon. Yes ma'am. No ma'am." They stop in their tracks when they see the school's 'nerd' Wheein

"Hey, Wheein!" they tease "Shakes buddy" and knock her books out of her hands.
———————————————— To Jennie Kim, being punctual is important, especially on the first day at a new school. She is seen running down the corridor, already late to her first class. This is when she hears Mrs Mcgee talk from out of the intercom. "Good morning, boys and girls, and welcome to what we're sure will be our greatest year at Rydell. Saturday night will be our first pep rally and bonfire and i want to see all of you students out there with plenty of support for coach Calhoun and the 'Rydell Rangers'. If you can't be an athlete, be an athletic supporter, and now for the really good news, and probably one of the most exciting things to ever happen at Rydell High. National Bandstand television show has selected Rydell as a representative American High School and will do a live broadcast from our very own gym" cheers can be heard from all classrooms "It's our chance to show the entire nation, what fine, bright, clean cut, wholesome students we have here at Rydell" In one classroom, there's talking and shouting, in another Jennie Kim walks in, making everyone look at her.
