my name is Natalia Torres. I'm 17 years old and this is the story of my Ex-Thing.
it's my first day at my new school. i wonder if my family could tell that im nervous. i take a shower, straighten my hair, do my makeup and eat breakfast. but what's more important is that today is my 11th year. this year and the next are what counts the most when applying for university, but most importantly, YALE!! i have always loved Yale and i hope i get accepted to it. when i was little, i even had banners and everything that's about Yale. Even a map!! The thing is, i'm so scared i'll never get in. it's my dream university. always have always will but enough about me being scared, i have got a school to conquer!! Since I have my license, i can drive wherever i want, whenever I want. That's kind of what I like about being 17. I get in my cherry red car & start driving to my school.
After 15 minutes of driving, I park my car near the school and get out of it. I start walking to my class when suddenly a stranger, who was in a hurry, bumped into me and Spiller all his coffee on me.
"Im sorry im sorry!!"
the tall and handsome guy apologised with a horrid look on his face. I look at my outfit and it is full of coffee stains.
"Why are you saying sorry? Today is 'go to school with coffee stains on your outfit day'!! It's okay. Plus i have a spare dress in my car."
I immediately try to make him not worry so much. I go back to my car and find him walking with me as if he was my bodyguard so no one else would spill their coffee on me. I unlock the car door and find another outfit.
"Jeez it's like a jungle full of clothes in your car. Are you living in here or something?"
"Haha."
I respond while rolling my eyes. I know my car is messy and has so many clothes but it's for backup!! You never know when a good looking guy is going to spill their coffee on you in the hallway on the way to your class. I take my dress and find the nearest restroom to change in. After i change my clothes, I step out of the toilets and hear him talking to someone on the phone. I listen in and hear him talking in a different language. He ends the call as soon as he sees me.
"Where did your coffee stains go? I thought they were you're brand?"
he said with a smirk on his face. I smiled back and shrugged.
"Filipino ka din?" (Are you Filipino too?)
He nodded. It's good to finally have another Filipino to go to school with. We start walking to our classes and go our separate ways.
