So, the thing i found that I based Samantha on, I didn't know this, but it's based on Soul Eater(which I have neither seen nor read but it's on my todo list now), so fucking sue me

Y/n POV

Samantha and I stepped off the bullhead with Ozpin.

Y/n: so what is this initiation?

Ozpin; well, you'll be launched off the cliff and have to retrieve a relic. Normally, you'd need to find a partner, but since you are both entering late and have Samantha, I think you'll be ok on that. Plus, since you, Samantha, are his weapon, you're ill not be required to get a relic

She looked at me, and I saw her eyes change to skull like pupils. She was scared.

Samantha: l-launched?

Y/n: don't worry. Stay here, I'll summon ya when I need to

She nodded, her eyes changing back.

So Ozpin and I walked to the cliff.

Ozpin: does she nod like heights?

Y/n: not particularly

Ozpin: well, anyway. Good luck

I then get my body lose all weight as I was flung out into the air.

I shifted my body, forcing myself into a slanted dive.

As I got closer to the ground, I contacted Samantha.

Y/n: now

Ruby POV

Where is his weapon.

Nora: 5 bucks he hits the ground and goes splat

Yang: you're on!

I then saw something appear in his hands.

A massive scythe, with the blade looking like it was made of ice.

He stabbed it into a tree, I saw ice form around where he stabbed.

I the jumped down and I saw the blade disappear into the handle.

I saw Nora hand over the lien to Yang.

He then started talking to himself and his weapon, but was acting like his weapon was a person.

Weiss: great, a crazy person that thinks their weapon is a person

Jaune: now you're just being rude

Ren: he might have a split personality and he's just taking to his other personality

I kept watching the person walked through the forest.

Y/n POV

As I walked, I eventually found a destroyed temple.

Y/n: you think this is it?

I saw her human appearance appear on the handle of her scythe.

Samantha; yeah, i think this is it

I walked forward, picking up a relic.

Y/n: chess pieces?

Samantha: lame

Y/n: whatever

I then turned and started walking back.

Y/n: so, when do you think the academy will finish the the next version of my arm, the one they said they could attach runes too?

Samantha; I don't know. But if it's another soul weapon, I'm still better than her

Y/n: relax, they said it would just be like my normal one. That way, I don't always have to rely on you for magic

I heard her make a sound, like she was annoyed.

Y/n: oh I'm sorry. Did I hurt your feelings?

Samantha: cut the sarcasm, it's annoying

Y/n: fine. But also, fire blade please

A blade made of fire came from the handle and I blocked the stinger of a death stalker.

I stabbed into it and it pulled back, sending me into the air.

Y/n: gun form

Samantha then transformed into her P90 form and I aimed at the death stalkers head.

I then pulled the trigger, sending a line of fire bullets straight through it's head.

I started falling towards it.

Y/n: scythe form

She then turned back into her scythe mode, and I swung down, impaling the death stalker through the skull.

Y/n: dead

I heard Samantha giggle in my head and I put her on my back as I started running through the forest.

Time skip

I handed the piece to Ozpin as I walked to where he said my dorm would be.

As I walked, I saw people staring at me and Samantha in her weapon form.

I pulled my cloak hood further over my head.

But I felt someone tackle me to the ground.

???: that was incredible!

???: Ruby, get off the new kid!

I looked at who it was, seeing my old twin on top of me.

She looked at me, seeing my face.

Ruby: Y/n?
