Chloe's POV

I woke up with the sun kissing my face. I heard voices downstairs so I washed my face and brush my teeth.

I walked down the kitchen and my eyes widened when I saw Charles sitting on the counter table.

"Hey sis!" He greeted me. I walked to him and hug him. Its been a month since I last saw my brother. He's alr college and he has a condo.

"Oh my god what are you doing here?" I asked amused and looked at mom preparing something.

"Im just paying a visit. Are you not happy to see me?"

"Im glad bro" and with that Nick suddenly appeared from the living room. Wth?

"The hell are you doing here nick?"

"I came to visit duh" he rolled his eyes and start grabbing some fries my mother cooked. The audacity.

"Where's your friend nick?" Mom asked nicky. Wait? Friend?

"Here" a voice from behind us spoke and when I turn around I almost fell from my chair. Wtf??

What is Kio doing here?

"Hey" he smiled at me and walked closer.

I turned around to nick and gave him a "what is he doing here" look but he just shrugged off and continue eating.

"Why dont you guys walked to the balcony and talk?" mom said and gave me a meaningful look.

So just like what she said, we walked to the balcony without me not knowing why since there's nothing we need to talk about.

"So..." he started.

"What are you doing here?" I asked but not sounded to be rude.

"I came to pay you a visit. Nick said you dropped off of school. May I know why?

Nick. Damn that asshole.

"Its a personal reason. But yeah, I dropped out already" i explained.

"Then why are you not replying to any of my messages?" I knew he would ask this.

"Well uhm,,, mom c-confiscated my p-phone. Y-yeah! That's r-right"

Not right. I lied

"I see" he nodded but he still look confused.

"Why didn't you tell me that it was you texting me?" He asked. Damn when he will stop the q&a?

"C-can we not talk a-about this?" I said trying to ignore his question. I dont want to talk about that. Its pretty awkward.

He just nod and looked at the view.

"We're still friends right?" He asked

I smiled at him "yeah"

"Aight! We better go. I'll see you soon" he stood up and was about to walk away.

"Hey kio?"

"Yeah?" He looked back.

"Uhm goodbye?" I smiled awkwardly

He chuckled and smiled "yeah. Goodbye!"
