NO GUN. NO GUN, NO GUN, NO GUN. THOSE TWO WORDS replayed themselves in Itsuki's head as soon as he'd left his home in a fit of controlled annoyance. He didn't want to go back in because of the way it'd look to the woman sitting on his couch. After everything he said to her, walking back in would make her more smug than she already was. Aya clearly knew where to hit him where it hurts. She knew his weaknesses, his strengths. She knew how to persuade him. And that is the exact reason why he needed to leave. He didn't need another scandal. Especially not one having to do with her.

Bringing himself out of his thoughts, the man looked up to spot Itsuo at the bottom of the steps. He had his hands shoved into his pockets, seemingly waiting for his brother to emerge from his home.

"Daddy, wait!" A young voice called out. Kumi made her way over to him, frowning.

It's not like he was going to ignore her. He loved her with all of his heart, even if he didn't show it often. He squatted down to meet her height, resting a hand on the top of her head.

"What's wrong?" Itsuki questioned.

"You didn't say bye," She paused. Her brown eyes flickered over to Itsuo, who still stood there with a curious gaze. "Who's that? He looks like you!"

With a feigned smile, the man placed a kiss on his daughter's forehead. "No one imporant. Behave until I return, okay?"

"Okay!" Kumi nodded and gave him a tight hug before running back inside and closing the door shut.

With a deep sigh, Itsuki stood and made his way down the steps. "Walk." He ordered, making his way past Itsuo swiftly. He really needed a drink.

The youngest of the pair followed, keeping a leisurely pace behind the latter. "That bad?" He questioned, raising a brow.

He was met with silence. Which meant that, yes, it was that bad. And anyone knew what it meant when Itsuki was in one of his moods.

"I don't even know why you got involved with her in the first place, Brother. She's a Konohan, and you're part of the mafia. And now you have a child together? Father wouldn't approve, and that's why you kept it from him up until the day he died."

"You think I don't know that? Besides, she doesn't belong with those pansies." Was Itsuki's only answer. The town was just up ahead. He'd go over there, have a nice drink at the local bar, and calm himself. That was the plan.

"What did she even do?"

"None of your business."

Itsuo scoffed amusedly. "I'm your consultant. Everything is my business."

Turning around sharply, the eldest glared at his sibling. His blue eyes were full of fire. He was done talking about this subject. "And that is exactly why you're the only one who knows. But I'm entitled to privacy despite the fact you love to stick your nose into everything that has to do with me."
