First Date

I was always the shy girl of my friend group. I was the only one who wasn't dating anyone and the one with an insane crush on her bestfriend. Yes i said it, I have a huge crush on my bestfriend, Jungkook. I always found him very attractive, sweet, and a cute guy with a funny, friendly personality. His bunny smile always makes my heart pound almost escaping my chest. I never had the courage to tell him how I felt about him because I was always afraid it would ruin our friendship.

"Y/N why don't you ask Jungkook to be your boyfriend since you're so in lovveee with him," Jihyo asked. "Well I don't kno-" "Y/N YOU NEEDA HAVE HOPE because who knows, he may actually like you in that way too," Jihyo smirked as soon as she finished her sentence. Wait, does Jungkook actually l-like me?? No way, he wouldn't like a girl like me....right??

My mind still couldn't get over what Jihyo said to me. I was daydreaming a fantasy where I was actually Jungkook's girlfriend. It was so good until somebody tapped my shoulder, snapping me back to reality. I looked to the left of me to catch a glimpse of my bestfriend/crush next to me.

"Y/N were you daydreaming again?" He asked. "Whaaat....no.i wasn't....," "You sure because you looked like you were," he chuckled, "Anyways, I was wondering if you wa-wanna go out wi-with me tonight..like a d-date I guess?" He nervously asked. My brain instantly shut down...was he serious? Does he actually like me? Did he just ask me out? I didn't know how to answer his question. "Of course why not!" I exclaimed, immediately glancing his bunny smile plastering on his face.

It was almost time to go out with Jungkook. I was a nervous wreck. Many thoughts about the possibility of him having an interest in me kept spiralling in my mind. Suddenly, I got a phone call from Jungkook.
- "Hello."
- "Heyy I'm at your house, are you ready to go?"
- "Yeah i'm coming."

The ride to the park was strangely quiet, Jungkook didn't speak at all, it looked like he was nervous that I was going on a date with him. When we arrived, the scenery was so magnificent, the sunset was really proof that endings can be beautiful. I was so mesmerized in looking at the amazing sight that i didn't hear Jungkook speaking to me or noticed him holding my hand. "Y/N are you there? Earth to Y/N, do you copy?" He joked around, snapping me back to reality. "Oh sorry, I was so distracted with this beautiful sunset," I apologized.

"It's okay but I need to tell you something really important." "Sure what is it?"

He sighed and took a moment before spilling his true feelings for me. "Y/N, listen, I know you're my bestfriend and that bestfriends don't catch feelings for each other but I can't help it. You literally make me feel like I'm the luckiest guy here on this planet to have such a gorgeous, charismatic, sweet, humorous, silly girl like you. I can't stand the thought that we're only bestfriends because to be honest, I want to be more than that."  I was in utter shock, Jihyo was trying to tell me that Jungkook had a crush on me from the day we met. I felt so lucky that I wrapped my arms around his waist, hugging him tightly. His body stiffened but soon he wrapped his arms around my body, embracing the hug.

"Kook, I didn't expect you to have such deep feelings for me, because I actually feel the same way about you," I replied with my face buried in his chest. "Wait yo-you feel the s-same way!?" He exclaimed in surprise. He never thought such a pretty girl like me would like a boy like him. "Yes Kookie, I really really really like you," I responded. Without warning, he smashed his lips into mine. Without hesitation, I slowly melted in the kiss, wrapping my arms on his neck while his hands were on my waist. He broke the kiss soon after, attempting to catch a breath.

"So Y/N would you make me the happiest guy in this entire universe and be my girlfriend?" He shyly asked.

"Of course my kookie."
