Seventeen-year-old G. Ploofman was standing in front of her vanity, adding the finishing touches to her makeup. Plop a little powder, touch of gloss and voila! Perfect! She smiled her perfect little smile and slipped on her Gucci sunglasses. (They were from 1998: a lucky thrift store find)
To be honest, Gexceratia Lavender Ploofman was not in any way a mean and popular chick. She was actually pretty BA. Hence the somewhat weird name, she was a very pretty girl with soft lips, smooth skin, chestnut waves, brown eyes and clothes that look like they came from a mixture of a 50s rich girl wardrobe and a biker chick from LA.
Today's outfit was a very poofy floral dress, red high top converse, Gucci sunnies and the jacket. The perfect biker jacket. Only she could have pulled of this outfit. A waterfall braid fell down the side of her head and her makeup was nicely finished.
She pulled her Convertible up to the Senior parking lot of Graceson High. She grabbed her backpack and her keys and walked out to the benches under the cherry blossom trees.
Heads turned as the chick made her way through the crowd of screaming fangirls and sweaty teenage bodies. It looked like a scene from the Clueless movie.
G. gave everyone a small smile, a part of that smile showed that she put effort into what she looks like and the other half was like "I woke up like this." She entered Hallway C with the same attitude and attention when Principal Careathers stopped her in the middle of a very fabulous strut walk.
"Young lady! That dress is out of dress code!" She said.
A small crowd immediately gathered around them.
G just smiled. "Miss C. According to the Student Handbook Article 28, Rule 131-" she coughs for dramatic affect. "Students may wear sleeveless clothing items as long as it is covered. And last time I checked, biker jackets aren't banned and they cover my arms."
The student body claps and hollers. The principal gives them the go-away look and everyone scatters to their respective homerooms.
Gexceratia Lavender Ploofman, who was very proud of herself, rolled her shoulders back and calmly but quickly walked to C1.
